In RBY/MGS Round 2, MGS finally passed RBY around 5 AM, promptly lost its small lead around 7 AM, then took back the lead with the DSV at 10:30. Yesterday, the weekend day vote started around 8 and then really picked up steam by 10. At this point, I like Red to win it.

If Ocelot can start cutting right away, yeah, he starts looking good. But if Red can drag this out for another hour, hour and half, which I think he will, then by the time Ocelot finally catches up to Red the sun will rise and Red will pass the old man.

It's not certain. I feel fairly comfortable here though, because Nintendo characters generally finish pretty close to their power hour percentages, after losing a lot overnight and gaining it back during the day- they up end higher more often than not, in fact. And on the weekend, where you are at noon is typically not far below where you finish. MGS has a horrible morning vote.

Those MGS/RBY trends make it look like this will end pretty close though.

I just don't trust Ocelot to make a comeback.

Looking at Ocelot's trends in 2007 and 2008, he doesn't even have a great night vote. He actually DROPPED from his Power Hour percentage. But then again, he was facing Cloud in 2007, and everyone drops facing Cloud at night. No excuses in 2008 though.
