That's exactly why it's bad. Arthas isn't that strong himself and Thrall is even weaker.

It's interesting that today's match suggests Arthas is as strong as Magus, though, so we have 2 signs Thrall isn't that bad now.

To be honest I'd expect Rat/Ike to have hurt Arthas more than Alucard, so Arthas probably takes Magus without too much trouble.

....man Magus, you might be weaker than a guy who lost Vergil.

Link breaks 80% with ease with a full 24 hours. Heck, he might even make it to 82%+ at the rate he was going.

Yesterday wasn't a bad performance by Link just because the Oracle had everyone going mid 80s. Thrall is probably the second strongest Warcraft character behind Arthas.

I'd say Illidan is the second strongest character in the Warcraft universe, but that's going strictly off of WC3.

It's interesting that today's match suggests Arthas is as strong as Magus, though, so we have 2 signs Thrall isn't that bad now.

Both of them being high fodder seems reasonably sensible. I think Link was also hurt a little more because the match was on a weekend and he couldn't really take advantage of his morning vote, but that's a pretty small difference.

I must say that I like this 12 hour thing, though I wish it were a bit more balanced...My intuition is that 6-6 or 7-7 would more fairly split votals while also being more exciting (3-4 hours for ASV comebacks and 7 hours for night comebacks).

Nintendo always slows down in the afternoon on weekends. Link might have gotten to 81%, but then even 82% would still have been pretty disappointing.

Alucard with over 59% that last hour. I wonder if he can hit 60% by the time this thing is done.

By the way, Magus looking this crappy makes Phoenix Wright look pretty crappy now, too.

Jecht > Phoenix a lock

I'd say Illidan is the second strongest character in the Warcraft universe, but that's going strictly off of WC3.

I would have to agree. I nommed him this year and was hoping he'd get in since I think he might even give Arthas a run for his money. That dude has awesome character design too, something Thrall sadly lacks.

From 35% on Link to 35% on Sonic 2008.

This is Magus.

Can Alucard push hard enough to reverse 2k3 exactly?

Magus (2003c) has a strength of 34.93 against Base Link.
Alucard (2003c) has a strength of 27.56 against Base Link.

Magus wins with 60.55% of the vote!
A 23,448 vote margin of victory.

Magus' recent contest history!

2005: Lost a match to Knuckles that nobody expected him to lose
2006: Did not make the bracket
2007: Lost a match to Big Boss (to be fair, as Naked Snake) that nobody expected him to lose
2008: Lost a match to Sandbag that only a handful of people expected him to lose
2009: Lost a match to Alucard where he was the slight underdog

Well, let's see...

Link got 79.81% on Thrall yesterday. Ganondorf got 74.38% on Thrall in 2007. Magus got 50.30% on Ganondorf in 2003. Alucard has 58.24% on Magus right now. If I'm doing it right (and I'm probably not), then Alucard is projected to get 79.21% on Thrall.

It's practically a tossup!

Hm...let's see...

Based on 2007 Thrall, Ganon is expected to get 75% on Thrall. Based on 2k3, Magus = Ganon, so Magus is expected to get 75% on Thrall.

Based on Magus at 75% on Thrall and Link at 80% on Thrall, Link is expected to get around 58% on Magus.
