It's not that bad. Most people figure that Coud beats Sephiroth 55/45 before SFF so as long as you think Snake wins in a close match that pick isn't impossible.

As said before, 30% on Link is impressive, but if that doesn't convince you, consider that Crono only did 8% better on Mario than Zack did, and that was with Samus in the poll instead of MMX, which should hurt Mario more. Crono was equal to Vincent last year, and probably around equal to Squall.

Well, I've seen virtually zero discussion on the match. I just kind of assumed GlaDOS wins because the Mario & Luigi series is kind of niche, but 650,000 copies in a month is pretty crazy. Fawful is just a handheld character though.

How is it a game can sell 650,000 copies in a month and I hadn't even heard of it before today? I mean, I don't think any Gamecube game ever sold that many copies in a non-launch month......TWW sold 826,000 in its first month by packaging OOT and OOT: Master Quest with it, and now a DS game can just break 650,000 that easily?

*Remembers Brain Age and Nintendogs*......okay. I'm not implying Bowser's Inside Story is similar to those games, by the way.

Another match that hasn't gotten much discussion is Isaac/Layton. Sure Isaac kept close with Lucario, but he was doubled by Altair who at the time was around the fodderline and only got 63%. Layton didn't do well either, but since 2008 he's gain two new releases and his original game has sold quite a bit.

Still think Isaac is the favourite though.

Isaac/Layton I assume is a fodder match where the winner gets to lose to either a Tetris piece or a robot.
