Even more surprising - Sunshine, Prime, and WW actually dropped within six months of each other. hope not, there are still some that we haven't seen yet and the
Remake-poll is so much more useless of a GotY-poll. At least the winner
of the Downloadable-GotY made the overall-GotY last year, plus that

this is GameFAQs. I don't know much about Valve but Gordon got doubled
by Sora, and I don't think a rally is getting him all of that back

If
Valve puts him on the Steam front page (like they did against Link),
he'll win. He's also legitimately stronger now than when he faced Sora.

I'm
all for Gordon looking better this year between GameSpot and
Valve's/Steam's newfound-interest in CNet's contests, but I'll be
shocked if Gordon gets close to her without major rallying. I don't
think people outside of GameFAQs will care about our contest as much as
GameSpot's, fighting Tifa in the second round of a 128-bracket isn't
nearly as important as fighting Snake in the third round of a
64-bracket, and -- even if there is big rallying -- GameFAQs has both
higher vote totals and less time per match for Gordon to deal with when
facing Tifa. Throw in that the rally for Spy during the vote-ins wasn't
particularly big, even for a twelve-way, and I don't have much faith in

that's why I'm going with Tifa. The match could be almost over before

really think that Vincent, Squall, Auron, Tifa, and Sora are all in the
same general range (Probably no more than 55/45 indirectly in any of

Remember
that Fox almost hit 44% against Sora in what was the "fairest" match
Sora had that year. I think Tifa can easily match or exceed that

I don't see any reason why not. Tifa's never really given a performance that indicates to me she isn't on that level. Maybe Luigi in 2005. But Tifa got 43-44% on Sonic that year, and Vincent got 45% on Crono. Crono wasn't that much stronger than Sonic that year. In fact, based on the 2005 stats, Vinny wins with 53%. --- "So cold.
