And if a Magus/Squall match ever happens, I am going to work myself into delusional hopes of Magus winning for about a month before the match. I
think Duke's boosted a bit the last couple contests due to the rise of
western gaming over here and DNF becoming a more and more popular joke,
at least before its plug was finally pulled. He's definitely not the
same Duke on the milk carton, much like Pikachu isn't the same Pokemon
who had to struggle to beat Parappa and got doubled by Fox. Of course, there's no telling whether he'll be as strong this year since DNF is pretty much dead, though that certainly didn't hurt him in the Gamespot contest. But I do think Duke's actually got some strength behind him now. Still don't think he has any shot in taking out Charizard, of course, but I do think people are underestimating Duke. --- Not Wylvane |

Except Yoshi was in that match! 31% on Samus > 30% on Samus though, and I'm not sure how far above Frog Magus is anymore. It's
a good a tiebreaker as anything when you've no good data on them. It's
probably fairly close either way considering how similarly 2005 Frog

Except Yoshi was in that match! Oh man, here we go again! Whatever the effect was, it at most balances out Rikku/Vaan LFF. There's no way Yoshi/Knuckles LFF was more than Rikku/Vaan LFF. Honestly, Zack is the favorite over Yuna, and rightfully so. He'll probably win, and he might even win easily and I won't be surprised. But it's just a 1-point pick (unless Zack is much stronger than I thought and he beats Mega Man. Mega Man X > Mega Man believe, go ZackFAQs), and Yuna (and Rikku) is stronger than people like to give them credit for, so I figure it's at least a worthwhile shot. Honestly, at this point, I'd say that Yuna is stronger than Tidus, and if Rikku gets 45%+ on Kirby this year, you could probably put her over Tidus, too. --- "Spoil it for me. Whatever the effect was, it at most balances out Rikku/Vaan LFF. There's no way Yoshi/Knuckles LFF was more than Rikku/Vaan LFF. It's easy enough. Yoshi got a lot more votes than Vaan, so there was a lot more potential for him to be hurting Knuckles. too bad Axel is thrown to Dante this year, because he's probably
stronger than we all think he is. His debut year, he gets 30% on Mega
Man, and the next year, he beat Frog, but our site admin was too
incompetent to see that, and now he has 358/2 Days which just won the

If Knuckles dropped between 2005 and 2007, it's the same from Magus's perspective as if he'd gotten LFF'd. I played Torchlight for $10 before I got bored. Guess I wouldn't like Diablo either. Don't even know what PvZ is about, but I know it's the next big PopCap game, and anyone who makes ****ing Peggle can't go wrong in my eyes. --- Not Wylvane |

Heck add Aerith and Cid votes together and he's project to get more than I expect (not that they have 100% overlap) 2. How do you know Raiden isn't fodder? The guy almost lost to Sam Fisher; MGS4 can only help so much. 40% on Dante - Over/Under? Probably under, we have seen how LFF Dante was able to smack the hell out of Riku last year. 358/2 boosted Axel is probably still slightly weaker than Riku, so i think 38% is fair prediction. |
