I've never heard of such a thing, and as far as I know, no 360 graphics have even been released, since its not coming out for almost 3 months on it.

I found this by googling. It's not a direct comparison, but it shows how Square had to dumb the graphics down to make sure they could get compressed onto the 360: http://www.uffsite.net/news/232/ff13-graphics-changes-in-action.html

They should have just left it on the PS3 to begin with. All this really does is try selling a game to an audience that won't want it very much, at everyone else's expense. JRPGs never sell on the 360; its best-selling JRPG is what, Lost Odyssey? Blue Dragon?

that pic comparison gets used a lot and apparantly is no longer valid or something because that was way too early a build but w/e as long as my PS3 plays the game I don't care what happens to the 360 version UNLESS it affects gamefaqs polls.

I never played Lost Odyssey, but I can tell you one thing. The soundtrack is pretty outstanding.

While the texturing and rendering may be different there, graphics wise, that comparison isn't too major honestly.

hell no, I keep failing powerpro success mode cos I can't read the damn kanjis and the dialogue is often peppered with them making my choices harder, no wonder i end up in the hospital so much in those games, man I love powerpro, so much cooler tha say bomberman.

While the PS3 looks better the 360 is still playable, no reason to buy a PS3 if you already own a 360.

Ha, well, uh, I don't know enough Japanese to be able to grasp what the characters are saying all the time during the cutscenes, but I can get around menus and the more gameplay-oriented stuff just fine. My friend -- the one who imported the game -- is Japanese, and fluent in the language, so I got some help there.

As for how good it is, well...everyone will take to it differently. It's pretty much the opposite of FFXII in every way -- it's super, super linear; there are no cities; there's not really any sidequests from what I saw; and the amount of cutscenes is on par with FFX. I think the story is pretty bad, though, so how much of a good thing that is will depend!

Well, there's those Hunts, but they aren't until you're well into the game. But yeah, it's a very, very linear game, probably moreso than FFX. It makes up for it with some incredible art direction and an amazing battle system, so it's p good in my book.

I heard about the straight line stuff but I figured it was all just being exaggerated.

Most FF games at least have a variety of subquests and some non-linear parts. Kind of a shame FF13 may be even more linear than FF10.

Still gonna wait for the reviews before I decide one way or the other on getting it.

Its why FFXII is one of my favorite games. Its totally non linear and has tons of stuff to do. Same with Tales games, and hell, most JRPGs. But totally linear like FFX (which is my main complaint about it and why its not a top 5 FF game for me) is just really worrisome

FFXII isn't really non-linear, but it does have infinitely more exploration and small sidequests to do than FFXIII. Not sure how people will take to the extremes that FFXIII goes to, but everyone who hated FFXII will find FFXIII much closer to what they want.

One more thing about Kratos Aurion and I'll drop the convo: if this is the same guy who outdid Ridley against Diablo, Sackboy's probably gonna have a tough time; I'd still take him to win, but it wouldn't be convincingly or certain.

If this is the same guy who lost to Diddy Kong despite CF though, there's no way Sackboy's losing this. While the Nintendo-influences may have affected Kratos Aurion, I didn't hear anybody calling for Midna affecting him in 2007. Lloyd did better against MMX last year than he did against Zero in 2005 despite Mudkip and Tom Nook, too. I'm not going to call for a ToS-drop or anything, especially considering what ToS did this year, but Kratos Aurion looked much worse last year than ever before and we've had some other matches to test ToS-characters against Nintendo. I think it's fair that he needs to prove himself before being treated seriously again.

Well, There are a few matches I wish to make sure are clear before I make my bracket complete:

GlaDOS vs. Fawful
This one confuses me a lot. Either one looks like a good contender for the win, but which one would likely win here?

Eizo (not doing the full name) vs. Simon Belmont
This one's also an iffy one to me. Which one is more likely to win here?

Ryu vs. Balthier Bunansa
Am I the one guy here rooting for him, or is he doomed to fail here? Because seriously, I know he messed up in that one round before, but do you think he'd have a chance now(ignoring that one mess-up)?

Auron vs. Squall
This is my toughest choice to make here. Most likely these two would fight each other, but who would be the safe bet here?
