No, we need MWC on the crew. He's the funniest poster around (or at least, the one who makes me laugh the most), and his contest opinions already manage to generate a lot of attention.

Who's technically more embarassing? Who has the bigger game? Will looking like Sora actually be enough?

I've got Laharl for 2 reasons;

1. Higher Seed. When people don't know who the hell the two are, they'll typically bracket vote, and Laharl is the higher seed.
2. Laharl has been in like 4 or 5 contests and Neku is only in his 2nd, so higher recognizability may help

Out of all Round 1 1v16 matches, Link and Mario break 85%, and from what Ive heard, Sonic too.

Mario vs HEY EINSTEIN is SSF. pretty clear.

Link vs WARCHIEF, well, go to any warcraft site and the'll go "ITS ****ING LINK", take to the fact that almost every server has a Link(and like 50% of em are either the Prissie's[Blood Elves] or douche-burgers[Night Elves], seriously) and, well yeah. That and Link makes a cameo(so to speak), so Ima make something up like it SSF's WARCHIEF <_<. Also WARCHIEF hasn't exactly been on the best of terms with players, what with being a doormat as of late and well, Garrosh.

SNOIC vs Name that's not even trying anymore, people did not like FF13 in japanland, or so ive heard(Famitsu has been worthless for years, don't bother using it). Also I am riding on "lol pink cloud" killing TJF, but not giving any Cloud Power for some reason. this is of Course if Sonic hasn't completely nosedived off Grace. Which he probably has so this is like the one im least sure on <_<

Laharl is technically more embarassing, but that's because he's been in more contests which is actually a plus.

It's a shame the TWEWY was removed from the contest, we could of actually seen how loved/unloved it was.

do people like Neku? serious question.

By the time you beat the game, Neku is a very likable character.

But if you just played like the first part of the game and never beat it, then you probably don't like him. He's a jerk for the first...third of the game or so, if not half.

Yeah, Neku changes a lot by the end of the game. I think that's part of the reason he ends up being a pretty likable character. He's kinda like Squall, I guess, although I think even he beats out Squall in the jerk department.

Leon's got Neku right.

As an FFVIII hater (sorry Leon), I liked Squall. I hated that it felt like Squall had no PC worthwhile hanging around. Neku is Squall except he has supporting PCs with character beyond the first 10 minutes you meet them.

Yes Neku is a lot like Squall, which is why I don't like him either. The only TWEWY characters I liked was Shiki and Sanae. Sho was also pretty cool...

On the other hand I just had to look at a picture of Laharl and I already then knew that I would like him.

To be fair, the year that Vlado and Inviso were on the Crew was quite...entertaining, to say the least.

Does anyone have a good reason why Amaterasu is standing so well against Shadow? We don't really believe that Shadow's weaker than Zidane, right? 'Cause that's kinda silly. We also don't think she'd get over 30% on Crono in a 1v1, right? 'Cause that seems kinda silly too. Or do we? Is there really compelling evidence that she should be favored over Shadow?

Everything you said about Neku can also be said about Laharl - he is a jerk pretty much all the time, although you learn that deep down he has feeling by 2/3 of the first Disgaea...

Dream3ater: I've played every FFgame from I-XII and I barely payed attention to the story in any of them...There are a ton of people like me

I think people are just really down on Sonic Team and itching to take them to lose at any conceivable moment. Stats-wise, I guess Ammy probably has an argument too with her good performance on Crono, but it's something that I personally cannot see happening.

Shadow is weak, and Ammy surprises us in every match shes in.

You mean 4-way matches. And she wasn't surprising in her first year at all. She's the sort of character that has a small, devout fan base. That says to me that she wouldn't do nearly as well if votes were concentrated.

Also, what's to say Shadow is weak. Last year he was paired next to Link in rd 1, which means he had basically no shot to begin with. This is especially so, since he'd be the greatest LFF victim in that match. He's not the strongest character by any means, but the Sonic characters seem more the type to not have much of a dedicated fan base relative to overall fan base. He should retain votes better the 1 on 1s.

I wouldn't take Wesker over Chun Li or Bison; I don't see why I would over Ken, RE5 aside, the best he could do is make it close.

Expecting Ken and Shadow to win pretty easily. As I've said before, Ammy's support really surprises me even considering Shadow's awful 2007 and 2008. Remember, without Nintendo in the mix, Shadow got 38% on Auron. Not great or anything, but can Amaterasu match that?

The answer I'm looking for is no.

Krahen Prophet did a fatality.

Crono also almost lost to Vincent last year, and netted less than 40% on double SFF'd Link. He also let Pikachu get 45% on him in a match with no other Square characters. I suspect that may have been Crono at his weakest in the history of the contests. But that's just me. Not like I'm trying to persuade people to take Amaterasu, I just want to make sure there's nothing I'm missing.

Well Okami seems like the type of game that needed to settle in first plus Okami for the Wii came out between 2007 and 2008.
