Is it just me, or are there absolutely no interesting matches between non-crap characters? I guess
you could make an argument for Sora/Bowser, and Ryu/Danta has
potential, but we don't have any Mega Man/Sonic or Vincent/Squall good

Yeah, Cube's path is set. It's going two rounds and losing to Luigi. Maybe it beats Luigi, but I doubt it. Same for L-Block. It probably doesn't get past round three. So
L-Block didn't gain any strength by winning the contest? He beat Ryu
twice last year and Ryu beat Kratos. The only question is whether he'll

Ryu
beat Kratos before GoW2. Plus, like I said, Kratos did beat L-Block in
2007 in round 2 back before the rallying began, so L-Block has its work
