i
admit i dont. I never followed it or watched any of the shows or played
any of the games outside of gold when my friend in high school let me
play his. but im just basing it on that if someone took a massive
nomination rally to get in and still got less nominations then a turbo
fodder character like ratchet, he cant be that strong The character that got doubled by CATS is a 2nd seed in the contest. High nominations doesn't mean strength. Pokemon has a large cast so it has a particular problem with getting nominations focused on the strongest characters. --- "Those whose memories fade seek to carve them in their hearts..." and
on GoW III, it's best if the matches occur slightly BEFORE it comes
out, hype seems to do more, just in case Brawl Backlash and Halo
backlash didn't do any favours for quite a few characters. Hype is often more important for BIG Franchises with already pre-established characters. --- Shakes Fist! |

right now, but I forgot about GoWIII. I could be flipping on that one
for a month. This isn't just Poke-fear; I've thought for years that

is casual bait for sure, Halo hype got MC far above his normal pathetic
levels, you never know just how big the PS3's killer app will be, but
it's bound to turn heads and although i don't think he'll do it, surely

Seems
to me like Charizard could win. Pokemon is pretty big and Charizard is
definitely one of the top few most popular. Maybe I should recheck how

It's
pretty obvious most of them are going to favor Cloud. Don't think the
jury ever returned on whether FFXII did anything like that, though

Did Link Increase post TP? during TP hypefest, he was well, untouchable, but last year Square seemed to have done VERY well, especially Zack and Auron, I'm not picking Cloud>link, but how far ahead of the field is he? --- Shakes Fist! |

In
retrospect, Cloud did pretty well to hold Link under 54% on the day of
TP's release. It'll be interesting to see how far apart they are now
this year, without any L-Blocks or Snakes interfering. --- Link he come to town to dominate all other characters and trample them down with his sword of more votes. |

I would like to think I'm not serious but people here seem to actually think charizard stands a chance =\ I'm probably falling into the PokeHype, but I was a kid when RBY came out and got caught up in it just like every other person did. I know that Charizard is the most popular Pokemon from RBY. Stronger then Mewtwo, Jigglypuff, and Blastoise. Pikachu is stronger because of Smash Bros. and being featured as the main character in the anime for so long. I think Pikachu can beat Kratos pretty easily, but I think Kratos/Charizard could have a good match. personally think, Zard is above mewtwo, but not by much and i think he

Last time he went 1v1 was against Cloud in 2006. Link nearly hit 54%. Who you got between Charizard and Kratos? I have Charizard, purely because I don't see any reason for him to not be around Pikachu's level, and he has a hint of the badass that the rat doesn't.
