the point is, good characters are able to fight off SFF from weak characters. Thats why Big Daddy is looking good today. If you are being sff'd to death by a glitch and a crappy fodder pokemon, then you dont deserve to get in

Strong characters can get badly SFF'd. Once again I point to Ganondorf vs Link. It's an extreme example but it shows that it's possible. Mudkip isn't that weak. Missingno. won the poll and may have a fair bit of strength. Big Daddy is the stronger character in the SFF relationship in this match and there are only two characters. Jigglypuff was the weakest of the three Pokemon and one of those was the top vote getter in the match.

Which means that there's a good chance that Tails, Knuckles and Shadow will be in the same poll.

Really? I've been watching the poll for a the last half-hour or so and it's been hovering around a 150 vote lead. Archer's day vote is bad, yeah, but apparently only as bad as Diddy Kong's and not abysmal like we thought.

I agree with the masses here. if you can't pull 5% in a poll with a whole crapload of crap, you don't deserve a second chance. Ganon is the exception, not the rule. it's not like Mudkip SFF'd Jigglypuff into the ground or anything. let's be real.

This poll isn't asking for your favorite character. It's asking for the character you want in the contest.

Although I wonder how much different things would be if it were just asking for your favorite.

I imagine Mudkip and Missingno have more in common than they do with Jigglypuff, and that coupled with being in all three SSB-games and being an original Pokemon should have kept her from getting LAST in a twelve-way poll when other options were dealing with SFF/LFF too. It was a poll where The Boss took second place despite Raiden...that's an embarrassing poll to take twelfth in.

These polls are all sorts of weird and I'd still give her the benefit of the doubt against some of those same opponents in a fair fight, but I've lost interest in trying to get her in a contest again. The SSB-roster can just remain incomplete and I won't mind now.

Oh boy, Archer started going back up in percentage again. Anyways, you were right about Archer dying when the sun rises. Archer's percentage dropped during all of the BSV, DSV, and part of the ASV (if Archer can keep up with percentage increases).

I do remember in the Laharl/Hogger/Ramza match last year there was one hour of the ASV where Laharl dominated. It made absolutely no sense but he was going at some ridiculous rate and would've easily gotten 2nd if he had kept it up.

Maybe there's a weeaboo ASV hour or something.
