as you notice though, all the big population places call it soda; aka, why its winning. Kinda like how the electoral map can look like republicans easily win, but the democrats get the big population states.

Yeah, California has more people than Canada

But California is 3 hours behind where I live at (it's only 12:39 AM for me). So Soda should be running strong until almost 4:00 AM, when it should drop off big time when the dead zone arrives.

Coke/Pop will have a strong night vote while Soda tanks. In some countries Coke is so dominant that there are barely any other drinks.

Soda is still getting 150 vote gains on Pop easily. As for as the percent updates so, it's started to drop to 44% updates, although it did better on the last update with 48.91% update.

I'm betting tomorrow we will have "Favorite Soda" poll

I hope so, because there hasn't been one since 2002. That would be awesome, because Mountain Dew would bomb overnight.

Pop is starting to lose updates regularly to Coke. Pop lost its first 15 minute update 5 minutes ago and Coke just got in another cut.

Well, after almost 3 hours, Soda finally fell under 40% for its updates. It got a 37.50% update. It was fighting to maintain 40%+ updates prior to that.

Ah, there's the first cut. Coke cuts Soda by 6 on that update. Soda also had its worst update so far with a 24.88% update and Coke has a 27.80% update (its best so far).

Pop died as well and lost the lead to Coke overnight. The lead change occured at 4:11 AM and Coke is up 1161 already. I see no chance at a comeback.

KrahenProphet owned me in the Guru Contest by 39 votes! That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Outside of North America Coke is really dominant in the pop buisness so it's not surprising that some people just refer to them all as coke.
