ZeldaFAQs for life. Not even GameFAQs' flagship game can hang with mother****ing Link anymore. Nintendo 4 life. --- Brawl did well for me, but not enough to net me the Guru win over Krahenprophet, so kudos to him. |

don't understand the contest gloom and doom. Knock FFVII and Ocarina
out, since we now have a pretty good excuse to do so, and hold another
BGE contest. Who knows what wins that? I'm guessing there'd be a lot of
RBY and LttP support with a fair amount of FFX, Mario World, Mario 64,
Brawl, and Melee support. Yeah, that's a hell of a lot of Nintendo, but
that's just not going to change anytime soon. Blame Square essentially

Yeah, this is the one major problem with 1v1. If a match is over within minutes, theres no real reason to keep up with it. Nah,
it's more ZeldaFAQs than anything else. Put any Mario game against
FFVII, and it'll get destroyed. Put Mario against Cloud or Sephiroth,

out of everything nintendo.. and no square game is at that level ever
since CT bombed LttP squeaked by Mario 64 and got lucky that it faced Mario World and Mario 3 at the same time - look at what Zelda 1 did to them together. It could fall under all three and that's to say nothing of games in the top half of the bracket (RBY, Melee, Brawl from Nintendo) that could beat it. really wish I could get into Zelda to see why people rave about it so
much. But I've played OoT, and only got the Shadow Temple out of
forcing myself to play through it since people loved it so much, till I
just got too bored of it to continue. What about Zelda games are
supposedly so great? To me, it was just puzzle after puzzle that bored

is everyone like "this contest was/is a joke" just because of the
winner? it's a popularity contest for games, and the most popular game
