Some thoughts: how large is the Anti-FFVII fanbase? 10,000 votes? 20,000 votes? If FFVII is winning when you discount anti-votes today, then taking out FFX and LTTP should increase the absolute vote margin of this win, because the Anti-FFVII fanbase is already going 100% to OOT. If it's higher than 20,000 votes, then the additional votals FFVII/OOT will get from not having 2 other games with them should be sufficient to overcome OOT's 5000 vote margin today with the anti-votes included..

I think it is pathetic how I have managed to suck all contest and still manage 5th in the Guru simply because I got the last 3 matches right. The scoring system for these contests really sucks.
