really like team battles at this point. I also think it's something
Bacon would consider. Not only does it have unpredictability, it has
more entrants in the field. Yet it preserves the 1v1 style we love so

Link/Cloud would be dumb. That being said we wouldn't necessarily need to pair them with fodder for balancing purposes, either. Personally I'd take Link/Ganondorf to be a weaker team than Link/CATS. Throw Cloud with Aeris and you're golden. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

wouldn't mind team battles. There's no way Bacon would throw 256
entrants in a contest, so it would be a pretty safe way to get us 1v1s.
The team making process (likely Bacon and an hour with random.org)

how large of a percentage of GameFAQs actually has Cloud or Link as
their favorite character. Sephiroth would get SFF'd with Cloud there,

OOT by the hour: 1:00 | 55.70% 2:00 | 53.38% 3:00 | 49.25% FFVII going far ahead of schedule with the cuts that hour. 3 AM Projections: Based on FF/Zelda, OOT is projected to win with 51.13%. Based on Link/Cloud 2006, OOT is projected to win with 51.14%. Based on Link/Cloud 2008, OOT is projected to win with 50.34%. Based on Crono/Vincent 2007, FFVII is projected to win with 52.91%. It's
not easy to go even with Chrono Trigger in the power hour. I mean, most
Nintendo characters/games typically finish at or above their 1 AM
marks, SSBM tends to finish a tad below, but CT always finishes well

Actually, just thinking about how a tag-team battle would work is irritating me. Another idea. Honestly, I'd like it if we could somehow work it out where the first round is 4-ways and every round after that is 1-on-1. know, after seeing this, I don't really think 1v1 is the solution
anymore. I look at this bracket, and I think "what if this were 1v1,
would it be any more satisfying?" I don't think it would be. Granted... filthy pairings like SMB3 and SMW would linger in the bracket for less time and wouldn't trickle down to mess up a ton of matches, but other than that...
