On one hand, the fact that OOT hasn't managed to win any hours with this morning vote encourages me, on the other hand, stalls with the morning vote very frequently turn into gains with the ASV. It should be a pretty diulted ASV though- OOT will probably wreck the first hour, and there will be panic, but then FFVII will start pulling it together again. The West Coast ASV probably won't help OOT as much as the East Coast ASV; FFVII always does better there.

FFVII's second night vote used to be the best in the business, sans outside factors. It hasn't looked too good this year, but hey FFVII.....you got one more match of classic FFVII trends in you?

Remember, FFVII still had a great morning vote in every match it was in, and so did FFX. The ASV is where it got hurt. I'm impressed it's come this far back though. Still rooting for the upset!

OOT won the 9-10 hour, its first victory since 4 AM. I'm not really sure what to make of it- if we were following true summer trends, this would be the height of the Zelda morning vote, and FFVII would look pretty good. If we're following schoolday trends, then we should be shifting from the BSV to the DSV right now, and things look awful for FFVII. We're probably somewhere in between those.

FFVII's best hope here is that a lot more schools finished since last thursday. OOT didn't really improve much at all against FFX with the ASV compared to the last 3 hours of the DSV last thursday. Now, with normal summer, trends, it would do worse in the afternoon than in the very powerful Zelda morning vote, so FFX not gaining with the afternoon/evening would seem to imply some ASV to counteract those summer trends. Just gotta hope for change.

OOT gets a 53% hour. Outside of the 6-7 hour, this is looking a lot like pure summer trends- OOT going up this much with the "DSV" tells you that. FFVII probably can't allow OOT 53% hours during the morning even with pure summer trends though, so this is probably over regardless. FFVII has like a 5% chance.

Possibly overrated: everything, but especially Melee and FFVI since their matches are based on LFF matches that we have no reason to believe are valid. There also appears to be a lot of questions about Brawl's value which affects its quarter of the bracket.

Possibly underrated: Nintendo games in FFVII's half bracket. There was a lot of LFF flying around, and it could have affected LttP and Mario 64. And, of course, I have no idea how to fairly rate anything in divisions 1 and 2, so Mario World and Mario 3 are purely guesses. Same with Mario 1 and Zelda 1, but they are #23 and #24, respectively.

ngirl suggested to use its value on GS, GS on MGS, and MGS on Ocarina. This takes care of Ocarina/RBY SFF, which tends to underrated it, but introduces RBY/GS SFF, which tends to overrate. So it's probably overrated.

The formula looks cool though!
