Okay, I'm an FFVII fan and all, but I want it to beat OoT as fairly and squarely as possible because I don't know if we're going to get a post-contest poll.

The sad thing is that Brawl advancing here would be a crazy upset, but it'd make for the most boring final in the world.

Speaking personally, I think Brawl advancing would be less boring than MGS4 advancing.

With Brawl advancing, FF7's destruction would cross the line from "boring" right into "hilarious".

If MGS4 advances it's just boring.

I like how each update something loses a bunch of %, and it goes almost exclusively to Ocarina of Time.

I'm thinking it might have canceled out whatever LFF OoT/RBY had, which was part of the reason RBY did worse the next round, in addition to Melee being there.

Sorry, yo and others, but I just don't buy SSBM > SSBM anymore. SSBM get ~54% on FFX with KH in the poll...SSBB is keeping it close to FFX despite LoZ:OoT. Even if RBY bothered SSBM, there's still a big gap between them and you have to put a lot of faith that Pokemon hurt it quite bad in comparison to LoZ:OoT.

I'll say it: SSBM's getting really over-rated. We've seen two Nintendo games that each have better reasons to be more popular than SSBM do better against LoZ:OoT than SSBM after out-performing SSBM each round, and yet there's still decent talk that SSBM could take each of them down. SSBM's just not shown up this year like we thought, nor has any other Gamecube game for that matter. It's still strong and even in contention for the Top Ten, but taking it against RBY or SSBB feels like a trap I don't want to fall into.
