I think Brawl Snake just got some intel on MGS4's weakness and is relaying to the rest of the brawl roster to prepare for a vote counterattack.

Metric Trout, that's really not how it works (I know simply subtracting percentages isn't precisely correct either, but it gets the job done.) With your method, suppose you had Zelda vs. Adventure....if Zelda ended with 96% of its PH percentage, Adventure would DOUBLE its PH percentage. The same error occurs with games that are closer together- you get different results depending on which game you project through.

Here's the deal. Instead of giving SSBM 55% on FFX (which puts it over 40% on OoT), I took what FFX got on MGS2 in round 1 and round 2, and used the difference to somewhat determine what FFX would get on SSBM without KH (around 49.50% by those calculations, probably not too far off, within 1%, I'd say). I wasn't sure which number to use for KH here, but no games ended up between it anyway.

MGS4 is high off of FPF (First Playthrough Factor). In about a year i will drop back to MGS3 levels. Recall how strong MGS2 was in 2004. Same concept.

Which is why it is impossible for Zelda is not going to drop to 96% of its total percentage on Adventure.

It is important that you project from the loser's set of percentages. There is a reason all X-Stats are below 50%, you know.

In the above scenario, Adventure could drop to 96% of its Power Hour, or it could rise to 104% of its Power Hour, but the net change in that case would be a fraction of a percent. Zelda is going to stay close to 100% of its Power Hour no matter how much Adventure drops.

In the 3-way GotY final, MGS4 lost to Brawl by 2492 after building up a 755 vote lead overnight. Over a 3000 vote swing there. In the 2-way GotY final, MGS4 lost by 4260 after getting a 636 vote lead.
