39 vote cut. It's on!

RBY went just about even with MGS over the first 15 hours last round, and pulled in 55.65% on it over the last 9, which accounted for 34.70% of the total votes. In doing so, it gained about 2200 on MGS starting from 0 down, 2300 if you count from 2:20 instead of 3:00.

FFX is probably a tad better than MGS with the day, but RBY looks like it didn't start off quite as well tonight as last time, so......

Knowing those numbers, I think I'll keep my initial 1500 target- if FFX is over a 1500 lead at 3 PM, it's the favorite.

After seeing FFVII, CT, and FFVI all have almost identical ASVs, I rather get the feeling the other FF games aren't too different. If there is an FF game with the best day vote, it would be FFX though, now that FFVII's has tanked.

You could arguably say that facing FFVIII, RBY, and OoT is better than facing MM, GS, and RBY, but MGS did better with three Nintendo games.

This contest shall be my highest scoring contest since 4-ways started in 2007. Obviously, I got screwed over by L-Block in 2007 and I took L-Block to the finals in 2008. I have 286 points so far and this is what I have laid out for the rest of my bracket:

OoT > FFX (32 points)
RE4 > MGS4 (16 points if MGS4 comes in second)

FFVII > LttP (64 points, provided LttP doesn't get upsetted)
OoT > FFX (64 points)

FFVII > OoT (128 points)

I could have 590 points if all that occurs. Or 606 points if I somehow get RE4 > MGS4 correct.

Yeah, I don't think the true night vote starts until after 3:00 AM. Just yesterday, FFVII didn't even start picking up big time until after 3:00 AM, based on these first 6 hours:

38% seems like a lock for OoT here. It may finish at 39% or better, depending on how much it drops overnight and how much it can gain in the ASV.

For some reason, I doubt OoT gains much with the ASV. It didn't last time, and now it has Melee's day vote to deal with. Basically, whatever it ends up with at the end of the night is pretty close to what it's gonna finish with.
