Melee easily. Melee is probably the second or third strongest Nintendo game, just it gets ****ed over while fighting the king of console SFF.

Eh, if Pokemon can hold FFX to reasonably sized gains the next few updates, it might be able to try something with the ASV. But if it really is getting bandwagoned right now, and this is the best it can do, it's done.

OoT could beat FF7s % and still not look as impressive. ff7 had stronger competition, and only one same company game.

This match proves nothing other than that RBY resists SFF better than Melee does against OoT. Says nothing about how a one-on-one match would go. This is like saying Kirby beats Sephiroth after seeing what Cloud did to him.

Looks like FFX coasts to the finals. Guess we'll have two boring semifinals and hopefully an exciting final.

Yea, you cant judge Melee on this match. Just as an example, I ****ing love Melee and there aren't many games I'd vote over it in this contest.

But OoT is one of them. Im sure lots of Nintendo fans were torn on this match and chose OoT.

Well, this means RBY isn't being bandwagoned at least, and it's definitely got a much stronger day vote than FFX. But first it's got to survive the night, which will be very difficult.

The users at this board probably only accounts for about 200 votes at most. There's still like another 1300 that came from users that either don't care about this board or have never stepped foot in here. Those would be the casuals and they probably favored OoT or FFX more than the users at this board, which were probably for Pokemon.

So much for Melee's ability to resist SFF.

I think Brawl should fare better against Ocarina due to its rabid fanbase. But when Brawl was released, Melee became nothing more than a nostalgic Nintendo game. So when going up against the king of nostalgic Nintendo games here, it is not going fare well.

1 person scored half points and lived. Mac_Arrowny also did not have FF7 > LoZ:aLttP as yesterday's winners. Since most people near the top scored full points and the match was worth a lot of points, everybody outside the Top 7 who scored half points or less fell off the Top 50.
