I certainly hope LoZ can do it :) I see SMB3 winning by like 500 votes though unfortunately. Asking LoZ to cut 1300 votes (and then withstand any potential night vote from SMB3) is too much. If LoZ came back though, I think that might make this the coolest match of the contest. Would there even be any other contenders? It would probably become my favorite match this contest. SMW "dominates" SMB3, LoZ pulls the comeback, and SMB1 gets blown out. I should note I've never been crazy about SMB3 or especially SMB1, though it's hard not to love and respect them anyway. --- BT > Harrich lol me |

assume for a minute we end up with SMW > LoZ. Their next match would
have FF7 and either LoZ:LttP or SM64. If it's SM64, how do you feel
about LoZ's chances? If it's LoZ:LttP, how do you feel about SMW's

LoZ/SMBW/SM64 is a fight between SMW and SM64. LoZ is in an *incredibly* favorable position here that it loses then. LoZ/SMBW/LTTP...no doubt LoZ gets utterly destroyed there. Would go with LTTP, but it could go either way. --- http://thengamer.com/guru/ |

looks like we'll have to do this the old fashioned way LoZ just made up .03% on SMB3 in that update. At that rate, it will be 52 updates, or just under 3 hours, before it overtakes SMB3. Yeah,
percentage isn't too accurate...but for matches this close and gains
that big when we're this deep into the match, it's not like they're
terrible to go by either. LoZ is still taking the steps necessary to

Not only that, LoZ will be closer to SMB3 this round than SMB1 last round. I'll avoid ragging on him too much about this -- it wouldn't be fair to since I haven't ripped Albion a new one for some things like hyping WoW for the past year, plus I've been wrong on a lot more stuff I've argued for this contest than I'm proud to admit -- but Ulti definitely opened himself up when he started bragging too early and said he was going to gloat all he wanted to. --- BT > Harrich lol me |

And though LoZ is massacring SMB3 at the moment, I still think SMB3 wins cause the hill is too steep. if he's not wrong in the sense that SMB3 still beats LoZ, he's very
wrong that LoZ ends up closer to SMB1 than SMB3/SMW and comments like
"yeah, that wasn't a terrible argument at all" and "I'll gloat like I
want to" (paraphrased) half-way into the match kicking LoZ-supporters

Hey,
I had your back on the SMW > SMB3 thing once we saw them last round.
It's the LoZ-stance that's catching the most hell, and lost in this is
your comment about SMB3 clearly being stronger than SMW. When you brag
like that so loudly and abrasively though, people are going to call you
out, that's all. I caught some hell for being adamant about FF2/4
advancing last round (and STILL don't think it was a terrible pick, but
what-evs) and EB losing to SMW2:YI despite trying to be respectful and
humble about it all the way, so some of your comments gotta catch some

Considering
Zelda resisted SFF against Mario 1 and Mario 3, it makes sense that
it'd be by far the least affected. Mario 3 and Mario World are
obviously weaker than they would be normally. Zelda doesn't beat Mario
