Not really. Mario 3 is being dragged down by 2 NES games, Mario World has nothing in the way. This was predictable after last round.

At least I can agree with this as a fan. Kinda hurts my bracket, but Mario 3 and Mario World are both awesome games that put Zelda 1 to shame.

I don't know what to like at this point. I don't think Zelda 1 has the same day vote advantage against 3 and World that it had against Mario 1, but the 3/World definitely have a board vote advantage.

Looks like my fourth theory is correct here, as of the freeze. SMW is taking advantage of NES LFF to work its way into first place. SMW is probably hurting Zelda here while SMB is getting hit by SFF from SMB3.

Not surprised SMB1 is bombing so hard. It's an iconic game, but it didn't age well. Age better than most the games in its division, sure, but there's just no way it can compare to Mario 3 and World, both games which added so ****ing much to the formula.
