I agree with yo on the fun fights, though. The End by far being the best. I do however like the whole of 4's fights much much better, even Raging Raven. She really grew on me the second time.

I'm glad Bethesda games are doing well enough in this contest. Oblivion and Fallout 3 are two of my favorite games this generation and between the two I've must have sunk a couple hundred hours (over 30 alone on my current FO3 playthrough, which I'm around halfway done with), so it's nice to see them hanging well enough with the big names on jRPG-biased GameFAQs of all places.

Snake vs Crono 2002 - Needs no explanation if you were there. Ironically, these are the two biggest cheaters in contest history.

Metal Gear Solid vs Final Fantasy Tactics 2004 - Dead even for hours and hours, then MGS gets a giant spike right near the end.

Liquid Snake vs Frog 2004 - Only lost because CT cheats more than MGS does.

Solid Snake vs Frog 2004 - I'd like to call this legitimate, but everyone on this board saw the scripts getting passed around on both sides all day long.

Solid Snake vs Bowser 2005 - Hideously obvious.

Solid Snake vs Sephiroth vs Cloud vs Link 2006 - Another match where something MGS-related spikes at the tail end. I will never consider this a legitimate win, ever.

Solid Snake vs Cloud vs Sephiroth vs Kirby 2008 - Snake "stalled" Cloud's ASV in this match the same way Crono stalled Vincent's. Massive vote-stuffing. Neither match is even up for debate in this regard. You can barely even blame Sephiroth, because Cloud destroyed Snake in the ASV one day after this, to the point where Sephiroth's presence the day before was irrelevant.

MGS3 vs Oblivion vs Twilight Princess vs RE4 - Win lose or draw, I can safely add this to the list of obvious vote-stuffed MGS matches.




One is an accident, two is a trend, three or more is a program. Metal Gear Solid (and Chrono Trigger) cheat. A lot. and you can't really call me biased, because I love the hell out of the series :D

It was on pace to be much closer if not Bowser winning, then Bowser "inexplicably" collapse.

I cared quite a lot, mainly because Bacon allows it. But hey, at least we'll get news whenever 4chan announces a Battletoads rally. That's always good to know.

The good news here is that only one reliable cheating method remains possible in these polls, but it's more or less impossible to control. And no I'm not saying what it is, but I'm sure you can figure it out.

I didn't use the Rail Gun (I actually redid the fight after the Rail Gun, since you don't get the doll for lethally killing a beast form). I had a total blast running up and down the stairs and blasting her with the Mosin Nagant.

I just admitted Snake cheated to beat Sephiroth and Liquid cheated to beat Alucard. I don't believe Snake cheated to beat Bowser. Bowser's day vote sucks for a Nintendo character. That wasn't Snake cheating.
