Yes, but the extent of TP's improvement relative to RE4 may also suggest that the Zelda game was overlapping more heavily with Kingdom Hearts.

Eh, MGS's board vote is usually pretty good. It's doing better than I'd hoped, but unless RE4 got a bracket push, it should be safe.

So, wait, we wrong wrong about RE4 being quasi-Nintendo...it's quasi-Konami now?

This needs a few more updates to settle before we can really tell who's hurting who or if the board's just being funny tonight. People were really scared of RE4 being eliminated last round, now they were scared RE4 may beat LoZ:TP. That can make for a decent difference in the first five minutes. Patience, guys.....

Yeah, TP had overlap with both games, which meant that it was the game that suffered. Opening five minutes clearly confirm this, but we've still got 23:55 to go, so anything can happen.

Why they're overlapping is a good question, but they are.

It's not that hard to figure out. RE4 is more like MGS than it is previous RE games.

Alright, Zelda back to earth as people realize there's a battle for second place here.

Unless MGS and RE go at it all day, Zelda will probably still look noticeably better than last round. That unfortunately suggests that Brawl might do bad, bad things to its poll.

I think so too. RE4 and MGS4 are more likely to advance, not sure about which is more likely to advance or take first. Brawl and TP have a chance, but I think they're going to LFF pretty hard, and neither game is going to have a decisive SFF advantage.

Also I have *really* big trouble seeing RE4 contend with MGS4 after this performance. Even if RE4 pulls away the rest of the match, MGS4 has just looked a flat-out ton stronger than MGS3 by nearly all level impressions.
