I still want to see good ol' Vault Boy. Fallout 3's pretty popular here, and the guy is easily recognizable, oozes character design, and has a ton of potential pics.

You could do worse in choosing new characters. And hey, at least it's someone new not from a Square or Nintendo game.

Just thinking about it, it's humorous that the #2 N64 game gets tripled by the #1 N64 game, and the #2 PSX game gets 30% on the #1 FFVII game. That has to be the biggest disparity between #1 and #2 on any console. Of course, they'd do better indirectly, but still.

FF4 Cid is the biggest badass in the entire ****ing series. He ****ing blew himself up and then just got up, dusted himself off, and went, "Oh well, time to fix another airship!"

But then again, FF4 had a whole breed of badasses you don't see in modern FF's. Blowing one's self up was a commonplace occurrence in FF4 and nobody ever died from it.

Oh, and this match basically confirms for me that any FFVIII character not named Squall wouldn't be worth anything. Squall is a big exception to the rule, looks like, though that doesn't surprise me. FFVIII revolves around Squall in a way that few games do.

Still want to see one though!

1. Vault Boy isn't a *character*, for one. He's like...a logo-lite.
2. Fallout is not a character-driven game, either.
3. I've never, ever seen anyone express nearly as much love for Vault Boy as...say, Cube. Not even close.
4. Fallout isn't *that* popular around here.

People just wouldn't vote for him.

Play Shadow Hearts 1 if you can. It isn't 100% necessary, but it makes SH2 that much better, and is almost as good as 2 (although most would disagree there).

Darn the Pokemon.

SH1 is rarer than SH2, despite SH2 being regarded as the better game. It's not entirely necessary -- if you could only play one and not the other, you can get by with SH2 alone -- but they're both connected and make each other better, story-wise.

SH3 is good fun, but it's something you'd do way after you play the first two.

Final Fantasy VIII's night vote is incredible. Seriously. Relative to how it does the rest of the match, it's probably one of the best I've seen this contest
