We don't need to rally anyone. We pretty much know everyone's strength that hasn't made it yet. FF7 characters = strong. New characters = weak. Everything else = fodder to mid fodder.

But if you're looking for characters who haven't been in yet that could be above the fodder line, then Jecht probably qualifies. FFX characters are quasi-FFVII characters. A good number of them have decent strength.

Well it's day vote will be worse but just imagine how horrific MGS will do due to OoT's presence. It's been gone over tons of times, but trends don't really affect each other like that.

The only exception I can see is a super-LFF scenario, like last round with the Pokemons.

Oh right you are. I would've ate that game up, and I never even played X-2, despite FFX being among my all-time favorites.

What the hey is happening? I said I wouldn't be surprised if Pokemon took 2nd, but, well, I'm speechless. My percentages seem quite close enough to what they are now, except that I have 2nd and 4th place reversed. And this reminds me of how I got mauled by Master and Crazy Hand yesterday while playing SSBM as Pikachu, on normal difficulty (yes, I got there and lost 5 lives fighting the hands! I'm not playing SSBM again for a long time, though I'm still voting for it).

Believe it or not, Final Fantasy VII has managed 10k more votes than the A Link to the Past, which had the highest votal of the round until yesterday. WTH? Super Mario 64 had 5k less votes than Mario World, Chrono Trigger about same, and GoldenEye was slightly worse than Super Metroid. Do you mean to say that Super Mario 64 was SFFing GoldenEye worse than Zelda 3 was doing to Super Metroid (which was also being held down by Zelda 4)?

Final Fantasy VII kept about 98.33% of its votes from last round, and about 78.58% of its votes from the round before.
GoldenEye kept about 70.54% of its votes from last round, and about 43.89% of its votes from the round before.
Super Mario 64 kept about 65.39% of its votes from last round, and about 55.61% of its votes from the round before.
Chrono Trigger kept about 67.19% of its votes from last round, and about 43.01% of its votes from the round before.

Wow, GoldenEye did a good job at resisting SFF, and whoa Final Fantasy VII! Seems like the two combatants of the "main" attraction both lost about the same amount of votes from last round, confirming that GoldenEye hurts Super Mario 64 just a tiny bit more than Final Fantasy VII hurts Chrono Trigger. These stats make it seem that no game was SFFd.
