I'm
liking RBY to win a squeaker here. It has the "intangible" edge (read:
shenanigans of some sort of other) Not sure if OoT matches FF7's

considered, that 48% against the Metroid series is actually looking

All things considered, that 48% against the Metroid series is actually looking weak now. After watching all of these games, I've concluded that the Series Contest has practically NOTHING to do with the strength of its games. Mario Kart 64 probably beats any Mega Man or comes close. KHI and KHII probably beat half of the MGS games and come close to the other two. SOTN doesn't get anywhere close to any KH game. The
format definitely helps Pokemon a lot, and it wouldn't be this dominant
in a 1v1 setting. I still think it'd have some strength, and Pikachu
today would certainly be a hell of a lot stronger than he was in 2003

I'm
still not a believer that the format particularly helps or hurts
anyone. We argued it for MC in 2007 and it looked like we were right.
Then 2008 happened. We thought the format was responsible for Sonic

Yeah,
MGS probably makes a decent enough move with the night vote to come
close to the lead. Don't know if it'll hold it. It's probably the
weakest day game of the bunch. It and FFVIII are probably pretty close,
