The
fact that RBY is holding up this well to OoT makes me think it may be
as independent as FFX. I mean, 39% on OoT? Its beasting Three Nintendo games + MGS = MGS win OoT/SSBM/RBY vs. FFX =/= Pokemon win Plus, if anything, SSBM has proven it can hang with the big boys just as much as Pokemon has. --- http://www.court-records.net/animation/phoenix-superobjection.gif |

Three Nintendo games + MGS = MGS win Majora's Mask did nothing there. That was all GSC holding up to SFF. we already saw what Triple Nintendo LFF did for FF4. And that was with
two Mario games in the poll. Excuse me if I'm not convinced that adding

I've
been thinking for the last couple of days that the Nintendo games that
would stand up best to OOT are SSBM and RBY. they're about as different
and distant from OOT as you can get. the only other option are old 2d

Comparing
FFIV to FFX is a bad, bad idea. FFX's strength has never been a real
question mark -- we know it's legit. I wouldn't say anything about the

oh,
and I don't think Pokemon's won this yet. it's gotta survive to 1:30
without dropping huge updates before I call it for it. I'm also not

can see Pokemon going anywhere next match. Could kick ass, could get
crushed by three strong games. Might even have one of those steady

Pokemon
could certainly have a joke appeal. It just needs support in that area,
i.e. getting major gaming sites into this **** like they were into
L-Block. It's not as easy this time since nostalgia will drive casual
voters to vote more for their favorite games than to spite GameFAQs and
it's fanboy love affair of Link, but as long as Pokemon gets more votes
than the other three from said exposure, it can only do a world of good. I'm worried there won't be enough time to build up Pokehype, though. It'll need all the hype it can get to advance next round. --- Wylvane's current main account. |
