well,
how much stronger is CT from FF6? unless you think the overlap really
killed LTTP last match, you should be able to judge LTTP vs. Mario 64
like that. --- xyzzy http://img.imgcake.com//chewing.jpg |

5 straight gains from CT. It might actually win this hour over Mario. Looks like CT is trying to pull away with the DSV. --- Luster Soldier --- ~Shield Bearer~ | ~Data Analyst~ Popular at school, but still not as cool as FastFalcon05, Guru Champ! |

Yeah, it looks like the difference in trends between weekends and weekdays may save Chrono Trigger until the ASV this time. Although with Mario 64 still cutting like that, maybe not. At least it lasted longer this time. Mario 64 and CT are both under 35% on FFVII here, though with GoldenEye getting tripled here, the prospect of Mario 64/GE LFF is there. LTTP being there next round won't help it either. --- http://www.court-records.net/animation/phoenix-superobjection.gif |

From: LeonhartFour | #214 thats 2 mario games, and this match should have CT losing at least 1% from here on out, so FF7 has some wiggle room to stay over 41% --- http://www.xboxlc.com/cards/blue2/Albion%20Hero.jpg http://bulk.destructoid.com/ul/user/2/2784-66688-Pic1JPG-550x.jpg |

And
it looks like CT will stall out until the ASV. It'll probably just go

Yep, just a massive stall fest until 3. Followed by CT winning the ASV. All these years, Crono was saving his energy for one climactic ASV push. This is that time. ...Or CT just falls off a cliff and loses by over a 1000. But that's not nearly as fun. --- xp1337: Don't you wish there was a spell-checker that told you when you a word out? Everyone
in the stats topic has been completely spoiled by this point. Nothing
short of 1500+ vote comebacks makes anyone happy here anymore. --- http://thengamer.com/guru/ |
xp1337 | Posted 5/28/2009 9:19:14 AM | message detail |
Actually,
it's boring because it's almost certain that the stall is actually
pretty pointless because we all know CT is just going to collapse when
the ASV comes. Now, if this stall is still going on a fair deal into the ASV, I think things change significantly. --- xp1337: Don't you wish there was a spell-checker that told you when you a word out? SC2k6 (190/240) 99.4958 Percentile |

Nah,
I'm pretty sure if CT stalled Mario 64 all throughout the ASV and still
managed to win, people would still get excited. We're spoiled because
we have knowledge of trends. When something completely defies the
trends, then we take notice. --- http://www.court-records.net/animation/phoenix-superobjection.gif |

i
think everyone's underestimatying the monster that FFVII is now.
Ocarina would at best repeat its 2004 performance or maybe do worse, and
i don't think LTTP is much stronger than mario 64 or CT. to compare,at this point in its last match, mario was already 1115 votes ahead...now it's behind by 50,we'll see what happens. |
