To be fair, last round CoD4 ended up 5.5% above Mario Galaxy at the freeze, and finished only 7% up. It shouldn't change that much

Galaxy won't make Turd of the Round again only because MM3 stunk up the joint due to SFF, I think. Once again, it performs terribly for a series that has owned across the bracket otherwise.

The casuals have been sucking horribly from the start, but it's like they're exponentially ramping up their woefulness.

These ungodly prediction percentages keep wowing me.

Yep. It was going up since the start of the board vote. I kept loading up the poll results page and copy and pasted the results at multiple points in time. Noticed that Brawl was slowly going up over the first 5 minutes.

Melee completely failed to impress in both of it's matches against opponents that also failed to impress

Brawl destroyed our expectations in both of it's matches and is making the once impressive CoD4 look like crap here.

And the SFF-beatdown has begun in earnest, after the Mario board vote. 40.6% for Brawl that update vs. 15.81% for Galaxy. That's just under 72%.

Melee's pack was definitely the tougher of the two. All three of them beat GTAIV, all three of them would likely beat SFF'd Galaxy, but COD4 probably is the second strongest of the group. Probably has a close match with Diablo.
