This makes me feel a little better about my crazy-ass gamble to have Brawl win it all.

At least I wasn't crazy about it being stronger than everyone expected.

Still using CoD4 Galaxy barely avoids getting doubled. Of course GTAIV may be affecting CoD4's performance.

Smash Bros. in general is like 4-ways while games like SF are like one-on-ones. Melee may cater more toward tournament play, but come on, it's a party fighter.

True to a fair degree, though I find free-for-alls in both Melee and Brawl very boring. As a party game....SSB, even Melee, is pretty bad. Melee is actually fun when played 1v1 though, though it isn't one of my favorite games. The Brawl Deboost hype train has been fun these past 9 months, although quite honestly I think half or even a majority of people on this board/this topic have thought worse of Brawl's strength than I have for the last 7 or so months. I just always spoke against it when there was opportunity to and never defended it when I might have for other games.

I've been behind Brawl > TP for a while now so this isn't *too* surprising to me.. I just didn't expect it to be able to do this with Galaxy in the poll, but Galaxy just looks to be a joke. it's hard to believe this game dominated 2007 like it did.

Brawl/TP/RE4/MGS4 should be fun. I might back Brawl to advance there.

I don't think the Brawl deboost actually happen just that we all thought everyone was going to get a massive boost and the new characters were going to be powerhouses.

I still like RE4 and MGS4 advancing out of that match though. We've actually seen Brawl beat Galaxy down with SFF before, and worse, although that was before they came out. TP will hold up better, and the LFF will probably be enough to put the 2 non-Nintendo games over the top.

Well, it didn't really drop off at night, but the DSV was its best time and the ASV was by far its worst time, which is very unusual for a mainstream Nintendo game.

But there doesn't appear to be *any* LFF here - in fact, Brawl is doing significantly better on GTAIV than last round (the significant bit means that will probably be true at the end of the match too). And these are two of the three Wii games that would be worthwhile in the contest - if there's not Brawl/Galaxy LFF, why would there be in Brawl/Twilight Princess?

Well it did have Call of Duty 4 and Pokemon DP last round and Team Fortress 2 didn't have that much percent to spare, somebody had to drop.

There's only 2 Wii games that are worthwhile, and Galaxy is not one of them. The overlap here is disproportionately hurting Galaxy. I don't know how to explain GTA4 doing worse against Brawl this round, but it doesn't strike me as very surprising, and the existence of overlap is confirmed by the presence of SFF already. TP and Brawl not having LFF would be surprising.
