You've got Halo, San Andreas, God of War (Kratos always has great bracket support), and Blizzard.

That's why I said we could've figured it wouldn't be great, but let's not act like "oh it had those games so less than TEN FREAKIN' PERCENT is perfectly understandable" because that's ridiculous. I mean under 10% for 1st is absolutely insane.

Wow, Resident Evil 4 FTW after all.

Oblivion kept 89.71% of its votes from last round.
Tales of Symphonia kept 79.97% of its votes from last round.
Metal Gear Solid 3 kept 86.57% of its votes from last round.
World of Warcraft kept 91.52% of its votes from last round.

Everybody did very well. It seems that Blizzard RPGs have REALLY hardcore fanbases. MGS3 and Oblivion don't have much reason to drop next round, BTW.

Metal Gear Solid 3 has managed the lowest vote total of all 1st place entrants. Aside from that, no more honorable mentions enter today.

What was that, Zelda? You're not OOT or LTTP, or even Zelda 1, Twilight Princess, best you remember that quickly!

For the record, RE4/KHII was a weekend match, so the trends will be a little more spread out, which might explain why RE4 was able to hold serve against KHII's day vote.

Twilight Princess did not have a particularly impressive board vote last round, either. It did most of its killing with the ASV, as is typical with Zelda anyway.

Ooh if this holds I may have a shot at the leaderboard tomorrow! Which I think it will because KH usually gains a ton from the ASV, but it's got Zelda there, which also gains a ton from ASV. RE4's got the whole night to rise.

I stupidly chose RE4 > HL2 for this match (in my bracket; currently have the match correct) since most gamers will say that those are the two big games of the century.

I even had the same two getting out of the division, but at the last minute I changed to GTA: SA getting out. Oops.

All I'm saying is that RE4 is still going to receive votes and the advantage that KH2/Zelda would have during that time is going to be nullified due to the presence of the other game.

Yeah, Sora went off to play bingo or something this round. It's probably going to end up looking respectable, but not as good as last round. I suppose this pretty much kills the idea of Nintendo/RE4 overlap, cause if TP doesn't I don't think anything will.

RE4 pretty much stopped gaining on KH2 after just 20 minutes into the match and built the majority of its lead after that with the night vote in round 1. Here it's still climbing before the night vote even starts. I don't think it's in much danger

RE4's day vote will be better because the majority of the fanbase played it on a Nintendo console. Same reason ToS can have a decent fanbase despite essentially being cult.
