Call of Duty slaughters
tomorrow's match. As much as I would like Brawl (and by extension MGS4)
to be a top-tier game, it's not, and Galaxy is going to drag Brawl down

I'm
unsure. Mainly because Mario games tend to be high priority in the SFF
chain which could really hurt Brawls chances. But something about COD's
strength last round doesn't sit easy with me, maybe Galaxy is just

Yeah,
let's consider a KHII comeback when it wins a 15-minute update for
once. It still has 1.5 hours left of this, and I don't think there has
ever been anything even close to a 2000 vote comeback on something with

What
I think will happen is that Brawl will still win it (barely) and Galaxy
will sadly put up a terrible performance in a distant third. Chances
are that most people who like Brawl also like Galaxy and vice versa,
and Nintendo fans seem to drop a game for another that has a chance of

Brawl easily sffs Galaxy down, I expect Galaxy to finish 4th After its

will receive a nice boost due to new hype about Modern Warfare 2. If it
wins comfortably tomorrow I like its chances of making it out of the

How much do you expect RBY/GS to get on DP before SFF? Before I would have told you that it would have been a slaughtering of epic proportions, but RBY barely got 58% on GS after SFF. KH's
ASV isn't a tier above Halo/Smash, sure, but Sora's is, much like
Master Chief - the character trends seem to be much more pronounced
than their games. Maybe a night voter feels a lot less lame voting for

For the third time this topic KH's ASV is one of the best, but it isn't a tier above Halo/Smash. No one's saying it's above that except maybe Albion. But after watching SSBM rip face and watching Halo do nothing with the ASV the other day, you can throw Halo out of the conversation. Sora became famous with the ASV was because he had night vote
opponents. Of course if he never did he'd still be known for having a

earlier: GoldenEye was an N64 exclusive and was actually published by
Nintendo, while Resident Evil 4 was on the PS2 as well as the GCN and
Wii. So GoldenEye would be significantly more Nintendo than RE4 would
be. Current discussion: I have a funny feeling that Mario Galaxy will fare well tomorrow seeing as every Mario game and every game I've beaten has been impressing so far. I also think that SSBB does not SFF SMG since most Nintendo fans prefer the latter. Then again, one Best Games for a Nintendo System List has Super Mario Galaxy only being beaten out by Ocarina of Time and Super Mario Bros., and MARIO KART WII is in fourth. Okay, screw that, but I think SSBB will be weakened a bit from last round while SMG keeps its strength from last round. I was also mousing around about the possibility that GTAIV and CoD4 (lots of 4s, whoa) share a fanbase since they're on the same three gaming systems (minus CoD4 being on the DS and PSP, heh), and that CoD4 would be hurt by SSBB like Halo was hurt by SSBM. But I stick with SSBB > CoD4 regardless. Oh well, tomorrow's match is riddled with modern masterpieces, so I don't care about the order all that much. |
