This match is going to be one of those "Common sense" picks. Stats and stuff might show Oblivion and Tos stand a chance, but... its freaking WoW. Its not going to lose to those fodder.

It's freaking Mario is an argument that has fallen on its face far more times than it's worked. What happened against Link in 2002? How did "Freaking Mario" need to cheat to beat Crono in 2003? How did he then go on to get 61-39'd by Sephiroth? How did Freaking Mario win only 3 updates all day against Crono in 2004? How did he get impaled again by Seph in 2005? Eliminated on day 2 of the battle royale in 2006? Beaten soundly by Sephiroth for yet a third time in 2007? Beaten by Link again the next round? Almost lose to Zack Fair in 2008? Get pounded worse than ever by Link and lose enough updates to Samus to keep KH playing Metroid games for a loooong time?

And against all this, it's Freaking Mario has like 1 success- against Samus.

Seriously, everyone here has seen Clinkeroth in action enough to know that Freaking Mario is still far below them, but if you didn't follow past results and just followed "common sense," would you see that?

I'd say it's definitely common sense to look at past results though!

Yeah common sense should have given us at least SA > GoW, with the other two having rather a large range.

Another thing I haven't seen anyone talk about: Bracket support.

WoW has that easily over Oblivion and ToS. for example WoW had 70% people having it advancing out of round 1 (compared to 45% for mgs3). Bracket support might be enough to swing a close match

The question to everyone's answer.

I'm fully expecting WoW to be 4th place at the freeze though. But just look at WoW and Diablo after the freeze. They typically raise 4-5%, so even if its last, its not out of it by any means.
