MGS needs to start lead building here, and fast, to avoid what happened to CT yesterday. GS cut 700 votes despite being down 6500, so MGS is going to get absolutely massacred here in the day. It has the night all to itself, but it doesn't have time to play around, even in the power hour.

I don't think RBY has as strong a day vote as GS. It didn't have a very strong day vote in its match.

Not that it needs to, considering the competition, but MGS doesn't need THAT huge a lead to be safe.

I don't think RBY has as strong a day vote as GS. It didn't have a very strong day vote in its match.

RBY was stuck in a group of Nintendo games while GS was the only ASV game to vote for.

GS's day vote was overstated last round because it had 3 night games with it. RBY had 3 other Nintendo games.

GS did significantly better in the ASV (37%) compared to the power hour (32%). MGS needs a big cushion to survive against 3 day games - it's going to be pushed pretty low once the sun rises. It still has a lot of time to get it, and it didn't really start moving against GS until the twenty minute update, but...*refreshes* it needs to do better than that.

We'll see. I still like MGS here but it isn't in the clear.

It almost has to be MGS by default, unless Kingdom Hearts 2 is secretly a powerhouse and we don't know it yet.

Not sure on how SM64 v SMB3 goes, this could be an overreaction to the CT match.

On that point, I haven't completely given up on CT, however, I could see Melee beat it. Twilight Princess is there on no real basis other than a gut feeling. Seemed to work okay with SM64, but then I would have put SMW at around 16 before its match. I'm actually concerned I'm overreacting to SMW a bit as well.
