I believe Pokemon Gold/Silver had a gaping lead on Metal Gear Solid last round as well. Nothing beats the Pokemon board vote. But Pokemon is looking impressive here. MGS is no good right here. I always thought it could have been really
overrated, but this is nuts. Can't even win decisively over Pokemon
with two other Nintendo games in the poll -- and GS is not even getting
killed here! All the signs were there after all the MGS games in round
