I wish MK8 would stick around the pic topic and post everything he submits beforehand. That way we know what to counter beforehand, like that FFIV pic.

I wouldn't mind so much if we weren't constantly blindsided by some of the stuff he uploads. Most of it isn't bad, it's just... "meh." I'm not looking for artsy in Round 2, but something that at least catches the eye would be nice.

Did you have any special pics for these games, Zen? It'd be interesting to see what you've worked on.

The fact is though, most of the b8 picture makers aren't making pictures that follow the requirements. I see so many pics for round 2 that show box art or official artwork, and that stuff isn't gonna be picked, so MK8 gets the advantage by being one of the only people following Bacons rules

I think he HAS specified due to picking all of these MK8 pics. It says he prefers in-game screenshots. So if someone sends an in-game screenshot, and official artwork.. he'll pick in game screen shot.

Well i just got back, and sure enough Mario Kart has really caught up to Super Metroid less then 100 vote lead.

Samus really seems to have fallen off the grid.

I don't like the size of Round 2 pics, so I didn't do too many. Most of these are jokes, with a few serious ones for games I actually like.

And if Mario Kart is already this close to Super Metroid, the remaining casuals coming home from work will likely vote Mario Kart pushing it ahead of Super Metroid and thus eliminate all the Metroid games from the contest before the 3rd round.

Who says Metroid Prime is more popular than Super Metroid, and how is that even relevant anyway. It's not like the game has showed any sort of strength before to be determined as on a downward spiral. We're talking about a game that like, beat Half-Life 1 with only 55%

Super Metroid > Metroid Prime, even before the contest. Besides Prime losing to Vice City shouldn't have been that surprising even if you didn't have that in your bracket.
