This is like a boxing match. One fighter goes on a surge and tears into the other, the other then counters ripping back into their opponent. Then they tire and the match goes into a lull for a bit.

It makes no sense but it's fun viewing!

You do realize that's exactly what happened last round, only with SM taking off at the beginning of the ASV and SMK then making a comeback, right?

It's official, Metal Gear Solid and Frog's fans have been edged out for the title of biggest cheaters. This poll is whackier than Kefka/Vercetti, and I'm not buying a comeback like that. Bacon REALLY needs to start monitoring the polls closely.

Can we please not take the title of biggest cheaters of all time from those Snake fans on a match that we don't even know there is cheating? Please lets not overreact, especially since you can name at least 10 matches that MGS cheated, and so far there is nothing crazy weird in this match, except DKC going off in the ASV, but that would not even have to do with mario or Metroid.

What do you mean? SM did start gaining the first hour of the ASV, and SMK came back an hour or two into it. It's a big reason why we were all so incredulous and started throwing around accusations against SMK cheating. In retrospect though, that's really not all that strange when the 2 games have such even trends.

Frog vs Liquid (admittedly, they no doubt both cheated, but we all ready established Frog was the other MGS level cheater in my last post)

"I will at least concede I am not sure on this one" (Say what you will about Snake being the stronger character, his hold back of Bowser at the end of this match screams the late match shenanigans this series is famous for, and about to be exemplified beyond all others in this next match.
Link vs Cloud vs Snake vs Sephiroth. (Hello single dirtiest final update of all time)
Liquid vs Alucard.
Solid Snake vs Cloud vs Kirby, vs Sephiroth. (Man, this right here was some epic cheating, even for Snake's fan, the only way he could ever outdo this would be like if he had a lead on Link for a few hours, but even Snake fans could never....)
Link vs Snake vs Cloud vs Crono (Most will say MGS vs FFT is MGS series dirtiest match ever, I will vehemently disagree and say this one takes the cake. Not just did he "beat" Cloud, he also held the lead on Link for about a third of the day, before getting trashed.



Damn, I am really ticked, I thought for sure I could get 10. Still 7 more than doubles up every other series except Chrono and Mario.

And LFF, tons of it. Both Sephiroth and Crono weakened Cloud considerably, to the point Snake was capable of beating him. And remember, that was Steroid Snake, on his best contest years ever. "Standard" Snake, the guy we saw in 2005, would probably be unable to do anything to Cloud even after Sephiroth was thrown in.

I'm getting a ToS/GoW vibe from this. Super Metroid's stalls and gains don't matter when SMK is winning overall.

Actually there really wasnt, Metroid went and got a 13 and 14% update getting cut by Donkey Kong in one of them. o_0

LOL. Come on, I'm the biggest Bowser nut on this board and I never brought up cheating in that match. Hell I was just happy Bowser was that close! With as biased as that pic was, I don't think cheating for Snake crossed anybody's mind.

MK8. He takes a screenshot, crops it, adds the game's logo, and then adds outer glow around said logo.

Sad thing is, that's what Bacon wants, so unless we submit equally generic pics, MK8 pretty much gets a bye and all his stuff is accepted over ours.
