Good to see FF4 doing well - although I feel bad for FF1.

Wow at SMW though. I figured there was a chance that SMW could outdo FF1+FF4 combined, but it never would've occurred to me that it could seriously push 50%.

Oh, and anyone thinking Mario 1 or Mario World are stronger than Mario 3, look at FFI/FFIV right now. Maybe their strengths are comparable, but there is absolutely no doubt which game is the most preferred if you know anything about the Mario fanbase.

Well, there you go. Mega Man is horribly weak.

I guess FF2 destroying FF1 makes sense. In http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=2592 FF4 beat FF by roughly 60-40. With FF6 gone, FF4 only has room to go up.

Also, SMW is absolutely kicking ass. 51% at the freeze? That is roughly what it did against just the first Final Fantasy last round.

I wouldn't say Mario 3 > Mario World is looking good just yet. Remember that without any interference, FF1 got 45% on Mario World. FFIV is proving itself to be stronger here, so you'd have to hope it keeps its innate strength to continue on.
