I'm not sold on DP being a lot weaker than GSC. It could challenge for first. I'd be shocked if it was anywhere near Mario Galaxy. I mean, I hate to bring up GOTY polls, but the game got owned by Phantom Hourglass. Half-Life 2 restores a little
bit of my faith in Call of Duty 4, but right now there'd need to be

I seriously doubt anyone in the topic that had been arguing for Persona
would've been rubbing it in everyone elses' faces. We all knew it was
an extreme longshot that would've panned through by ridiculous
circumstances and luck. Oh come on just stop it. I hate to go back to this but what are you doing now? If you knew it was a silly argument then you should've noted that in your posts, and not argued with people who agreed with what you actually believed. What you were doing was just wasting people's time, which is far worse than making a fanboy pick. Naw my Lol persona was directed mostly at Fayt, who claimed that support for GTA4 was ridiculous and argued it to no end. And I'm liking this BT guy, he seems like one of the users who can put his own bias' behind him when talking in a stats topic. That's the end of my deal. Now; on to something I have no clue about: Who were the safe second picks for the next two matches? I've got CoD4 and LBP, but now I'm pretty much convinced that LBP was the stupidest pick in my whole bracket (two PS3 exclusives? what were you thinking?) Some are saying Pokemon will destroy CoD4, some are saying Galaxy in first isn't even going to happen. We've seen pokemon do incredibly well so far, but there's gonna be some SFF with 2 nintendo games, so I think CoD4 is the safest pick there. --- Current Score: 84 Today's pick: Brawl > GTA 4 |

STILL not seeing where all of this Galaxy faith is coming from. We
already saw all new Nintendo except Brawl bomb, what makes you think
Galaxy will be a contender? I can't see it being stronger than TP, and
it has Pokemon to deal with. CoD4 should be as strong as RE4 and is

If you knew it was a silly argument then you should've noted that in your posts ...I did? Multiple times? Where were you? Pokemon is easily the kind of game people wouldn't vote for in a GotY poll but would vote for in one of these contests. Okay, time to predict tomorrow's match. We've got the best game of this generation, the best multiplayer title of this generation (actually, make that 2nd best, after Brawl), more stupid Pokemon, and another great multiplayer title. Now, let's start out with the losers. Team Fortress 2 stands no chance here, and it will be killed by Call of Duty 4. Similarly, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl will take on an SFF beating. Okay, so other Pokemon games looked good, but Pokemon Red/Blue was possibly dealing with STF and Gold/Silver certainly was (sole Nintendo game in its poll), and Diamond/Pearl is not only dealing with a universally-loved Nintendo title, but perhaps the best one Nintendo has cooked up since Ocarina of Time. Call of Duty 4 takes 2nd easily, with its short but sweet campaign and awesomely addicting multiplayer. Super Mario Galaxy, with all of its neat physics that make for an interesting take on a 3d Mario platformer, not to mention the return of Mario staples such as the Super Mushroom and Fire Flower, will take first place with ease. So, the main things to look out for are how Call of Duty 4 stands in relation to other PC games (with StarCraft, Half-Life 2, Diablo II, Oblivion, and Halo being top 5 right now in that order), and for how Super Mario Galaxy stands in relation for other Nintendo games of the last two generations. Twilight Princess and both Smash Bros. games have done very well, but Wind Waker and our critically acclaimed 3d Metroid title have both flopped. Super Mario Galaxy has franchise voting on its side (yay strongest franchise on this site aside from Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy!), so hopefully it can smash some booty and show that it's the favorite against Brawl (not that that would be good for my bracket!). Let loose the dogs of hell! Prediction: Super Mario Galaxy > Call of Duty 4 Call of Duty 4 - 30% Pokemon Diamond/Pearl - 13% Super Mario Galaxy - 40% Team Fortress 2 - 17% |

Answer this We'll assume Galaxy ~= Brawl, what percentage would you have CoD4 at here today? It would have at least 30%, if not more. Odd
time to have a religious discussion. I'll say that I'm atheist, but I
tend to prefer religious people on the whole. In my experience they
tend to be better people with better morals. Atheists online though are pretty irritating I've found. I remember having a conversation where someone said in Britain, there's thousands who list their religion as "Jedi". I'd probably list mine as "Sith" :p Anyway I'm not sure how tomorrow's match should go down. Galaxy shouldn't struggle but I don't know if Pokemon will reflect the strength of the other games and beat CoD4. The
expectations today weren't high because we've been watching everything
New Nintendo and Brawl especially disappoint for months. That Brawl is
meeting these repeatedly lowered expectations isn't impressive, though

when did Twilight Princess bomb? Then again, maybe you guys are saying
it bombed for not breaking 40% or ending up surprising close to
Half-Life 2. Well... -I stupidly picked HL2 to win that match in my bracket (big whoops) -Twilight Princess has managed higher vote totals than stuff like GoldenEye, Final Fantasy VI, Resident Evil 4, Kingdom Hearts, and other strong games. I didn't know a 49k performance was called bombing! don't get me wrong, I think organized religion is extremely stupid for
those very reasons (and more), but far be it for me to tell people what
to think. The way things are going nowadays, organized religion will be
dead within 200 years. The world is simply progressing to quickly for
