Hmm...a
lot of you seem to be writing off RE4. Isn't it possible that the
Kingdom Hearts series is just that strong in this contest? Kingdom
Hearts 1 unexpectedly beats Metroid Prime and Paper Mario combined. Now, Kingdom Hearts 2 unexpectedly matches up to RE4. I'm basically saying that RE4 can still be stronger than TP, especially if this poll means anything: http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=2995 Also, Twilight Princess is not impressing so far in this poll. It needs at least 40% here considering the competition. --- It takes a genius to make something simple truly great. |

of the leaderboard, it amuses me that the #1 guy on there has MGS4
winning amidst the swarm of FFVII and OoT pickers. Heck, one guy on

Were people expecting FFXII to be stronger than FF1? I wouldn't think there'd be many of those around here. Weren't you one of those people? I remember you having very little faith in FF1's ranking in the series. FF1 has quite legit strength. FF1's ranking in the series. FF1 has quite legit strength. The strength

Instead
of hoping for TP > RE4 next round, I think I'd be better off hoping

And yeah, why not
take Gordon's chances next round a bit more seriously? Zelda, RE4, and
KHII have triple overlap in either general appeal or console exposure.
Half-Life 2 is obviously bringing in a pretty decent fanbase and the
only Xbox option (although a lot of good that did for Gears, I'll
admit). Still, I wouldn't be shocked if second through fourth place was

Oh,
HL2 has a shot next round. All 4 games do. I just think its the lowest
chance of advancing out of the 4. That said, no order of the 4 games

I'll feel better about judging FF4 when it's not going against Crystalis and River City Ransom. I'll feel better about judging 1 when there's real competition besides Mario. and even then, it's got another FF in the mix so who knows. --- yzzyx |
