Well looks like RE4 is beginning to pull away from KH2 for now.

However it seems that a lot of people thought Gears of War would be in third place and not last place.

So how much of a vote lead would RE4 need to have a shot of surviving KH2's Day vote barrage?

Ironically, RE4 failing to beat KHII by a lot might make it look better wrt the later rounds - if RE4 isn't held back by Nintendo and the GotC poll is its true strength, it shouldn't have too many problems due to Twilight Princess in the next few rounds (and maybe Ocarina in the semifinal, though I think it's pretty clear that it's a long shot).

Of course, it has to actually *beat* KHII for that to matter.

This probably looks a lot like yesterday with RE4 going to town overnight before KH tries to do something with the day. Doesn't look like it will be close enough to accomplish much with it.

At least 1500 to possibly survive it, but 2000 or higher to be safe. Halo could only cut off about 1000 votes off Diablo's lead. And Halo should have an ASV similar to KH's.

Gears is pulling down RE4 here. May be on different systems, but they're both shooters and I'd hazard a guess that 90% of Gear's votes would go to RE4 if it was pulled out of this poll.

There really is no difference between SFF and LFF (one is a subset of the other) but we generally use SFF to mean one character hurting another so that the proportion between them is affected, whereas LFF is used to mean a group of characters hurting each other relative to another character outside the group.

The number of people who played only Resident Evil 4 is likely much higher then the people who played RE4 and GoW.. Thats why I see Gears of War getting hurt a lot by it.
