FastFalcon and Solid Snake snapped my neck in the guru contest.

11 people fell off the Top 50 today. SoldierTwo, thedragon31, ThisSrGuy, setyouupthebomb, scool1986, Ian_Ventricle, LancelotBT, Breakdown777, LJBad89, Dodongo77 and Agent_M did not have Oblivion > ToS as yesterday's winners.

9 people scored half points went up in rank. menji76, metroidcomposit, kenrmcha19, 80Starfire08, Theo72, Gaddswell, cavalier_lowen, SarahFailin and Axem_King also did not have Oblivion > ToS as yesterday's winners.

10 people scored a single point and still went up in rank. Dracosage, Gavin_Sykes, IXKyotoXI, tablesandchairs, Galahad5, PunkGag, swrdof1000trths, stalfo18, Heroic_Rufus and expaniol had something vaguely similar to Oblivion > ToS as yesterday's winners.

20 people didn't score any points at all and managed to stay on the Top 50. spence1891, _gloomy, Mirrorzzz, Ludwig_Von_2, mentalmike_2000, ccbfan, Some_Character, Jayman4545, DaveTheUseless, Juan_Gigante, wizeman101986, JgCuBe, Obsessed117, JohnnyPolo, Aecioo, Vivi_XIII, SenelCoolidge, EmperorChiaotzu, paulg235 and Acoolusername had GoW > GTA:SA or GTA:SA > GoW as yesterday's winners.

No one on the Top 50 scored full points.

K1lr0y was the top rated person to predict Oblivion > ToS as yesterday's winners. He shot up 89 places to go from tied for 103rd to tied for 14th.

MC swung like 3500 votes on DK on a weekend. Halo will be fine.

if anything, the real problem is that it's a Saturday which means it's a lot easier to rally votes.

And hey, what's up with the "Snake Eater" omission? Don't get stingy with the titles now, Admin.

He's probably counting Snake Eater and Subsistence as one, considering he didn't provide a "Sons of Liberty" or "Substance" title for MGS2 when it had it's match earlier.

Okami's hanging in there. pretty nice show from it considering the big names, but after TOS this shouldn't be a surprise.

World of Borecarft has tonight to build up a 2500-3000 vote lead because Halo 2 has no competition for the day vote. Since tomorrow is Saturday, Halo 2 should have a consistent day vote. Recall that Master Suck came back from a 2000 vote deficit against Donkey Flop on a Saturday.

I am no longer worried about World of Warcraft. it's going to take either a massive rally or a huge day vote to beat RE4 or TP. all things considered, this is a pretty pathetic performance from a game some thought could hit the finals. and after seeing the superior Halo suck it up, watching World of Warcraft struggle with it while getting blasted by a second-tier MGS title isn't very impressive.

I'll be curious to see if rallying even means anything here. most people will see that it's not even close to first and not care. it's only the Albions of the world that will rally for second place. I actually think, for rallying purposes, that it'd be better suited to a 1v1 contest because people would just care more.

how are people feeling about MGS3? it seems to falling into our expectations - above MGS2, probably not that close to MGS1. not a bad performance, but not a great one either.

I think WoW is looking good for two rounds. Halo is bombing this contest, but I still doubt it's as weak as Symphonia or Oblivion (I'd bet KotOR beats either). MGS3 should wreck the poll against three RPGs, and it's hard to see WoW not picking up enough of the scraps to advance.

I know it pulls away away, but Halo is still dangerously close to Okami.

I think MGS3>ToS has a chance of happening. The three would be close anyway, and ToS is standing out like nuts. Again.

MGS3 might be the third strongest PS2 game behind FFX and KH (and it might be stronger than KH - I think the jury's still out there). Of course, it all depends on just how big the gap is between FFX and everything else. Second or third best on the PS2 might still end up being just meh.

I don't think TOS stands out as much as it did last round. I'd peg it as being a little bit above Okami but nothing drastic, so if Warcraft beats it out by 7-8% I'd have a hard time calling for it to advance. we'll see though.

If I had known this was going to happen without knowing any other contest result, I'd have taken MGS3 out of this division.

As it is, Halo 2's big brother is on-par with KotOR, so uhh...yeah. Good performance by MGS3, but we won't really know anything about it until Round 3. All it can do next round is get exposed by ToS or Oblivion.

Arthas did better in Europe against a Pokemon and a gay blue-haired muscleman with no neck. Not exactly top-tier European competition.

If anything I expect WoW to stay constant during Europe because of Snake's mug. It'll gain a bunch on Halo 2 and Okami though.

Halo's got next to no shot here. it's gonna need to turn like 2-3000 votes and I don't know if it can do it against a game that can rally whatever's necessary.

Halo cut around 2000 votes off of Diablo 2's lead while being down by 4000, so it's not impossible.

Definitely Advantage Warcraft, though.
