Morrowind did pretty good in the day and it doesn't have the benefit of being a 360 game. I'd expect Oblivion to do pretty well come daytime.

I'm not saying there was anything fishy there (random stuff happens all the time), but this is a horrible way of detecting cheating. Different time frames can have very different vote sums. Just because a game's votes stayed constant while everyone else dropped does not imply a lack of rallying/stuffing.

Well, the past two days have all but confirmed that SFF/LFF/Stand Out Factor are indeed applicable in this contest and were just waiting for the right matches to show up. Also, we're quickly learning that the PS2/GC/Xbox generation has, like, four games with any real strength.

Like I said, it's hard to find typical SFF in the older parts of the bracket because everything overlaps so much that you don't see a Nintendo split for example. Get towards the newer games and the games are no longer universally played.

ToS got a distant second place to MP2:E, which was a distant third place to GTA:SA, which won 2004's GotY.

Now ToS looks like it may be able to beat any GTA or MP game.

I think that only sold around 100k which I think still made it the second best selling Tales game in the US. It wasn't too well recieved, though. But with a match this close, it might have been what tipped ToS into first.

I don't think God of War rolls over ToS with the day vote. Kratos has a great day vote, but great vs. good doesn't mean you can make a large comeback.

I have GTA > Oblivion here. With GTA out of the running, it means I have to either cheer Symphonia to told on or cheer God of War to overtake everything. Sue me, but I can never get over how hilariously flawed this scoring system is.
