Theft Auto: San Andreas with 40%? No way. I'm seeing it closer to

Fire
Emblem's strength mostly comes from SSB, which is very ASV-heavy, so
you'd think it would also have a very strong ASV. Ike has certainly

I
doubt Fire Emblem is a major ASV game. The characters likely only do
well cuz of SSB, and we saw how that translated to Metroid Prime. Hmmm...*checks Fire Emblem in the Series Contest* Man, barely any progress against Silent Hill and Metal Gear? I stand corrected. Samus

Unless you think VC would put 40% in that match, then I don't see how its possible. The
difference is that Metroid is actually a decent series without SSB, and
Samus doesn't have SSB-trends, but rather one of the most even trends
of all Nintendo characters. I don't know how Melee being in the poll
would affect FE here though- maybe its SSB fanbase is already almost
completely SFF'd away and what we're seeing here is people who have

Basically, going by MGS2 vs. Morrowind, I'd take Oblivion to be about even to MGS, since Oblivion >>> Morrowind Yes because three PS2 games are not going to affect each other. While Oblivion is more popular than Morrowind it wouldn't destroy it. *checks stuff for the first time today* Leaderboard! Filling out brackets for 4 years and it's the first time I've been on it (though my stay probably won't be too long). I figured full points yesterday would get me close, but really didn't expect so little Diablo support, especially at the top. And not sure if today is more Melee impressing or WW sucking, but hoping for the former, it could have itself a deep run. --- SCCs completed: Thief, Samurai, Archer, Wizard, Mediator |

Oblivion
looks the best of all the games for tomorrow; I rather regret not
having it take first. Also, I'm still not convinced SA is actually
stronger than VC, favorite GTA poll or not. That was right after

Tales of Symphonia the game

Tales
of Symphonia the game has one GotY poll where it was stuck with the
only other RPG that ever did well on the Gamecube. God of War games
have had plenty of (pathetic) showings. During a time where Tales was at the peak of its popularity, with Paper Mario being the other RPG in that poll. The
argument wasn't that ToS is likely to have strength, it was that it had
a better chance of advancing than GoW. Which it does. God of War simply

God of War is the biggest franchise from the PS2. Anyone thinking it

God of War's going to impress tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised to see it win the poll, though I don't think it'll happen. And if anyone brings up going even with MKDS...I'd take MKDS over Oblivion too, and GoW only really exploded in popularity after the first year it was out. --- All the stars in the sky are waiting for you. |

I don't care about PotD/GotY polls. They mean nothing to me. I'm going with my own logic after being here a few years. GoW is more popular then DMC, and don't even bother with NG since it's a minor series. With that said, Oblivion has a great shot at it, but I do believe that GoW will finish in first here. --- Good Times, Great Memories |

only shows what's relevant the year it came out. Everyone's been
