This is MP being weak. It was weak in 2004, and the fact that it was behind VC in the stats that year even though it was behind Starcraft should have told you something. Wind Waker is also weak- don't compare it to LTTP!

I don't know if MP has fallen off since 2004, although that was my guess yesterday (and not because of the Deboost)- it just feels like Metroid Prime was a very big thing back then, and is rather irrelevant now- Nintendo has moved on to Brawl, TP, SMG, etc. KH has certainly boosted a lot, but I'm still fairly comfortable with my FFX > MGS2 pick next round. Sora resisting SFF from Squall doesn't necessarly indicate KH will be able to do the same against FFX.

The only reason Morrowind didn't flop is because no one had any expectations for it to begin with. FFX still tripled it.

Somehow, I think you'll be wrong on that one. MGS2 was closer to Morrowwind than FFX so it has a hell of a lot of catching up to do. KH, even if SFF'ed, the impact it'll have on it will be very small, so it should be able to escape from two PS2 games in VC/MGS2. Personally, I feel the score will be something like this.

FFX - 33%
KH - 26%
MGS2 - 23%
GTA:VC - 18%

Why not? It's a huge seller. Plus the vote totals for it might have given a rough idea on just how many really casual players we do have on Gamefaqs. Of course, the total could be distorted by joke voters.

nah I pretty much expected vice city and prime to be at this level. The only minor surprise today is Kingdom Hearts doing slightly better than expected and Paper Mario doing worse.
