No
reason to think Metroid Prime would be strong after seeing Super
Metroid nearly choke against Mario Kart. Of course, both games are

The
fact that Samus can be a (paper) champion while the strongest of her
games have to fight tooth and nail just to beat low midcard competition

Most
of the Noble Nine has that problem, apparently. Why Samus (and to a
lesser extent Snake, I guess) are stuck with Sonic and Mega Man rather

the talk's been centered on Prime, but this is a pretty pathetic
display from Nintendo in general. Its two games combined will end up

might continue failing through the modern eras. The Deboost wouldn't
have touched the N64 and earlier games probably, but modern Nintendo is

It may not even win the hour at all. 50% is much better than 48%, what it got last hour. Dropping off 2% the first hour past the power hour is pretty standard for Nintendo falling off at night- Zack for example did something similar against Mario. He got a 57% hour before the morning came. Don't think VC will be managing anything that extreme tonight (4-6 AM is the FFVII Total Domination Zone) but it'll still have a sizable lead by morning. --- Link he come to town to win the Gamefaqs Contests. |

the one hand, this gives me a bit of hope in GTAIII (which should be
stronger than Vice City) making it through. On the other hand, we're
still not sure if this is Kingdom Hearts being a Top 15 contender or VC

you Vice City pickers can try to make a 12 vote cut for the hour to be
something huge, but I'm not seeing that as anything to fill you with
confidence that VC is going to take the night. Obviously Metroid Prime
was gonna drop off after the Power Hour, but I don't see any reason for
it to collapse. It's always been a more nighty game than other Nintendo

look like Zack wouldn't be able to get the lead from him before
morning). But you always see a gradual shift from 1 AM to 4 AM, which

GTA was coming both before and after that happened. Crono/Vincent says GTA wins by thousands of votes! Hmm.....let's take a look at Samus/Tifa trends. From 2:15 to the end, Samus lost 1.67% to Tifa.
