So if FFT and FFIX switched places in the bracket, how would you
guys see that playing out? Would FFIX have beaten G/S? Would FFT beat

Yeah, no doubt in my mind FFIX is stronger than FFT at this point. I
think I would take it over G/S, but we'll see how FFIX does tomorrow.
The complete and utter lack of noticeable LFF this contest means that

Squaresoft Headquarters, 1988. Person 1: In 21 years, the 7th game in this series will be the strongest game in a contest hosted by something called a "website." I don't know why this is so important, but I'm sure it is, so let's think of ways to make the 8th game as strong as popular on this "website." oh and Dissidia vs Brawl would be totally one sided,if Zelda can take
out the entire FF franchise,what chance do the main villains and Heroes
have against the entire roster which will include Sonic and Snake

Tough to say about FFIX and GSC. Need to see what happens tomorrow
first, but FFIX would have done much better than FFT, I think, no

The word you're looking for is "mistook" which came from the Old Norse "mistaka" meaning "to take in error" --- I may be fine and divine, but sometimes even contest know-nothings like Jose make better predictions than I...though not often |

Yep. I don't expect there to be much difference in strength indirectly
between FF, FFIV, and FFIX -- they should all be pretty comparable,

Whoops, darn Roman Numeral Confusion Factor! So how would everyone rank the FF games in the contest, while we're on the topic? FFVII >> FFVI >= FFX > FFVIII > FFIX > FFIV > FFI > FFT FFVI is still in second but it's on notice depending on what FFX does on Monday. FF7 > FF8 >= FF10 > FF6 > FF9 >= FF4 > FFT > FF1 > FF12 I don't think there will be much competition for FF12's position, it's even more apathetically received than 9. At least 9 has a sliver of FF support because it is a good game, it's just few really played it in the PS1's final year. There was no time for it to build up a fanbase like 7 or 8 which were released earlier on. Yeah, unless FFIX like...doubles HL tomorrow I'd say that HL2 beats
FFXII until further notice. HL2>HL by a good bit, and FFIX>FFXII

star/turd of the round's gonna be hard this year. FFVIII,R/B/Y,DKC,SMB all surprised us,either by hammering or resisting assigned trends etc,though for turd,i get the feeling some big names are gonna really suck in the second half. maybe something like RE4 folding,or GoW looking like fodder or the PS2 MGS games getting smacked. --- Pearl FC:2450 0974 5734 *shakes fist* |

FFVII > FFVIII > FFVI > (FFX) >> FF > (FFIX) > FFIV > FFT > (FFXII) I wouldn't take much for me to put FFX over FFVI, but I want to see it in action first. Chrono Cross is going to get beat into the ground by FF9, which will
then get beat into the ground by FF8. Chrono Cross being at the bottom

Yesterday's chart: Time | Deus Ex | FFT | MGS | Gold/Silver | Demographic EBV | 6.71% | 22.66% | 35.77% | 34.86% | (0:00-0:05) PHV | 7.25% | 22.51% | 37.41% | 32.82% | (0:00-1:00) FNV | 8.75% | 23.43% | 38.74% | 29.08% | (1:00-6:00) BSV | 8.34% | 22.24% | 37.45% | 31.97% | (6:00-9:00) DSV | 8.11% | 23.66% | 38.72% | 29.51% | (9:00-14:30) ASV | 6.73% | 21.94% | 35.14% | 36.20% | (14:30-22:00) SNV | 7.03% | 23.20% | 34.38% | 35.38% | (22:00-24:00) MGS does great until the ASV, where it loses the rest of the match outright to G/S. That's just a huge jump in the ASV for G/S, one of the biggest jumps I can remember seeing. FFT does best at night and the during school hours. Deus Ex is a night game through and through. It got hit hard during the ASV. | Then again, Xenogears escaped fodderization (sure, it doesn't have good numbers, but its WAY better than, say, Phantasy Star IV, and a bit better than SoR2), which means CC will probably end up looking better than the turbofodder we've seen for so many divisions. |
