Yeah, I wouldn't take this to be the final result between the two.
FFT's going to do a lot better once we get away from the beginning
vote, where Pokemon is just stupidly dominate. Not that it has a chance

I think this should end up with a fairly comfortable win for MGS
(37/31ish?), but RBY didn't fall off too much from the board vote so I
could be wrong on that. Regardless, Pokemon is definitely legit; GSC is going to cruise to an easy win over FFT. I have a very hard time believing RBY isn't a top ten game if little brother can do this. --- Mustache...and Green... http://backloggery.com/rpguy96 |

Well considering MGS was expected to beat GSC 70/30 this is pretty

Note: I worked 9-5 then got called in 5-12 at my second job and have yet to look at poll results before writing this up Round 1: Division 5 - Match 2 Deus Ex lol turbofodder Final Fantasy Tactics Don't blame me, blame yourself, or god. Metal Gear Solid SNAAAAKE! Pokemon Gold/Silver lol kiddy games Analysis: I'll make this short and sweet so I can check the match out after I write this: This was considered a Metal Gear Solid > FFT lock by the board, although I personally felt that people were retroactively applying Snake's new popularity to an old game that was only strong in 2004 because the contest was write after Twin Snakes, and ignoring all of the things in favour of FFT here (new remake, franchise voting at an all time high). They instead focus on Snake's sudden increase with the Brawl appearance and Ramza's staying at the same level. However, with R/B/Y's surprisingly dominant performance today, there's now a Pokemon in the way, although I feel G/S won't be NEARLY as strong as R/B/Y. As I say this, I fully expect to check the poll and see G/S with 50% or some other garbage. TuRtLe's Prediction: FFT 31%, MGS 30%, G/S 28%, Deus Ex 11% TuRtLe's Bracket: FFT > MGS TuRtLe's Vote: FFT --- Like Darth Maul, the bastard child of Michael Flatley and Hellboy. -trancer1 |
