As for the PS3 audience, I'm not exactly sure why they wouldn't unite
to an extent behind MGS if they're so eager to do so for MGS4 - maybe
not for MGS2/3, but MGS is the game that actualized
OurTheBestGameEverMGS4, and people in the fanbase acknowledge that. I mean, there's no way for even a second I believe RE > RE2 is preferred by the fans on any level, but people who like the new series might've put it a stone's throw away from SotN. --- turnturnturn your brain in turnturnturn your brain in |

I used to be a hyper of the original starters but, now... not so much.
I guess this result should be encouraging for that (2/3rds of this is
Blastoise/Charizard!), but without SSB and/or iconic status that

Mewtwo would cream Venuaur, probably Pikachu as well. Charizard > Blatoise > Mewtwo > Pikachu > Venusaur. Charmander and squirtle would probably be > venuaur as well, possibly also bulbasaur. --- That's how I see it. |

Charizard was universally regarded as the badass one, so I can see him
being strongest in inter-Pokeon matches. I can't see fatass Blastoise

I didn't realize which game was rocking 50% until I started reading
posts. Just assumed it was Zelda then I go back and look at it and HEAD
SPLODE. I voted Pokeyman too though so it's fine with me. But it sent a
thundershock to my system. --- Should I start running now? |

Blastoise has cannons on his back total badass And I doubt we see any more Pokemon than usual besides Charizard maybe. You forget that Pokemon is a ridiculous ensemble cast. Eh, 'toise is the closest thing real Pokemon ever got to guns. You can't knock him for that! Doesn't LUELinks have a poll asking about people's favorite Pokemon
game that got a lot of votes? I remember R/B/Y getting 50+% in a poll
outside of GameFAQs that was posted in here...and R/B/Y killed in it. Anyway, just saying I'm sticking with MGS > FFT for now. G/S will do better than I originally thought, but R/B/Y should be much stronger and I'm counting on MGS to impress tomorrow. --- Prototype Shorthand, do you speak it?! |

God I chose Perfect Dark to win the match, because Majora's Mask is
hated and Pokemon is a Gameboy game. I then chose Majora's Mask for 2nd
because Legend of Zelda vs. Pokemon never usually ends well for Pokemon. But in this case, Pokemon is the game that started a beloved franchise, while Majora's Mask is one of the most hated Zelda games. I'm still confused, though, as for why Perfect Dark is flopping this badly, especially considering some of the best review scores of all time from some critics. |

Ass on Pikachu, ASH is the face of the series. Come awn, guys. Just went to LL and found this gem of a post. I went to GF to vote for MM, then I saw pokemon and thought for a second. While I loved MM, Pokemon Blue really shaped how I approached video games and how immersive they could be. Not to mention, I made a lot of friends because of it and it influenced my life for years and years. MM was an incredible game, and if I played them both now I'd have waaaaaay more fun with MM, but Pokemon Blue holds too many fond and important memories for me.
