I wonder how people would react if pokemon RBY actually defeated FF7, OoT and Mario Bros 3 and won this contest? Overall, probably a mixture of anger and indifference. These last 35 minutes scream L-Block v2, meaning if Pokemon makes a run at this, people will actually stop caring, because we've seen this all before. --- I, like clockwork, have been humiliated by hochiminh Hochiminh is better than me. I was a numbskull for thinking I could defy Him. |

I mean, there's only so many rationalizations. Banjo-Kazooie would've been weak, but not that weak. It has fans. Perfect Dark, even taking the worst case scenario of it falling off a lot, still has a decent amount of strength. Majora's Mask, also taking the worst case scenario, is still a popular Zelda game that sold millions. Pokemon is beating all of them combined. --- http://thengamer.com/guru/ |

man, Pokemon RBY isn't L-Block. it's one of if not the best selling game of all time. it's pretty well-loved. if it winning is equivalent to a Tetris Piece, then we might as well throw the whole contest out. --- yzzyx |

Pokemon is also the perfect candidate for getting bandwagon support.
Everyone's played RBY, and everyone loves it. Plus the novelty of RBY
winning would be pretty up there, plus it's a victory that people would

turn is being SFFed itself by Pokemon? SFF isn't dead it's BACK AND
BETTER THAN EVER YEAH BABY. --- So I lost a bet to creativename (yeah...hardly shocking). Like usual, I should've known better! FACT: Halo 3 was 1000% responsible for Master Chief's boost. |

Pokemon RBY is absolutely the best in the series if for no other reason
than it isn't watered down with all of these new crappy Pokemon. Well actually GS was okay in that regard too but I really think a lot of the Pokemon designs after that game reeked of jumping the shark. --- So I lost a bet to creativename (yeah...hardly shocking). | I wouldn't go that far.. I'd still take the heavy
hitters over it. I'd probably stick with FF10 over it too, and probably

What will have the bigger gap, Pokemon > LoZ:MM or SSBM > LoZ:WW? There's no way Smash musters this type of performance. This is scarily strong. Laugh all you want, but I'm still saying that Majora's Mask is no joke. I don't think any FF title other than VII would put up this sort of percentage against it.
